Giant´s Blood /Behemoth is crap for your build. If you take one node out of Revenant and the 3 from Behemoth, you can get Ghoul. That should make a huge difference. The medal isn´t that good either, if you have a good green one, I´d try that one.
If you have it, you might wanna try the build with the Ulzuin´s set. Works very well also. (Got bored of the Justice set… ^^)
I’ll take it! Thank’s for the suggestion (Honestly, I’m installing GD stash for kicks and giggles because I’ve broken the 400 hour mark and I feel like I’m wasting my life farming) and see how it works out.
Also the devotion suggestion - sounds like the improvement I was looking for. I don’t know why I couldnt see it earlier.
My only concern is the medal part - I really have nothing better, what stats should I be looking for in my green substitute?
Please don´t cheat items, it´s probably gonna kill the game for you, trust me on this. Rather try trading or patience (FG is gonna be released eventually…).
As for the medal, Mythical Pyroclasm Mark is pretty good, otherwise just go for something with OA/DA or maybe resistances, dunno.
Personally, I am a packrat, I got a ton of green medals stashed away, but maybe you don´t, might aswell leave it as it is then.
Maybe check out the devotion setup on the Ulzuin´s version I posted, that might work well for you too. I didn´t take Rhowan´s Crown, but the build focuses on fire/burn anyway, I didn´t notice any dps loss (not with the Ulzuin´s set anyway).
PM me if you need specific items, I´d be happy to trade you stuff for some crafting materials.
I just want to say as someone who has used GDStash since day 1, it has yet to kill GD for me. Instead it only opened the path to many new and wonderful builds of my own. Infact I would have probably given up on the game due to frustration a long time ago if it wasn’t for GDStash. Not everyone likes or has the time to spend hours repeating the same content over and over, again and again for a random drop that may or may not come depending on luck.
A cup of tea to this gentleman, please!
I personally just hate that grinding component in such games, and i do use gdstash, but very carefully - only for those items that require crazy amount of grinding (worldeater, alkamos rings, aldrich scepter etc).
Could anyone (even the author perhaps?) specify the order in which to invest points into the devotion tree? I see some constelations feed off their own completion rewards, and i cant figure it out
You should try to find a guide with leveling tip for Purifier.
What I advise you to do is to take a good damaging ability first and rush the RR nods:
Flame Torrent (Fiend) then Hawk > Quill > Rhowan > Viper > Eldritch Fire (Solael’s Witchblade) > Hydra > Meteor (Ulzuin’s Torch) > Magi. Then cut Flame Torrent and go for what you feel you need more (attack speed from Kraken or Lifesteal from Revenant). You can queeze the 3 points in Giant’s Blood whenever you feel you need it.
I modified this build from Purifier to Paladin and did this real quick https://www.grimtools.com/calc/YVWqknLN
Really surprised at how naturally tanky it is, now just gotta optimize it further at some point.
is flame torrent from fiend actually useful on a ranged purifier? nothing comes close anyway and the skill triggers around the character rather than the enemies
i’ve switched the rings for a combustion band and a good cronley or gargabol.
the buff to this build on FG was on the 2h transmuter, and in the latest patch it got buffed on the WD on FS and ES at higher levels…
the helm and shoulders passives give us a boost on phys resist and more dmg.
in devotions im thinking to add the new raise the dead proc for more rr.
sadly in my case i still have to rely on blast shield a lot on SR, maybe should try 2 piece of new ulzuin, amulet for +2 sec shield an maybe chest for chaos->fire conversion.
thing is that to me the gameplay just feel good, something about a 2hranged make me wanna kill stuff
I’ve been playing this build and it’s working at least OK. I’m still missing the amulet (using Empowered Essence of Beronath instead) and have worse pants and boots, but I’m farming nemeses and Lokar easily and have managed gladiator crucible 150 once.
