One question! do you think Deathchills relic is a better option ultil i get sacred talisman? that aura looks like a really powerful damage upgrade, better that Ivory Talisman… what you think? thanks a lot!!

I tought the Flat Vitality damage and the 125% vitality damage aura was a better call but i am really new so i dont know much haha
it will save me the crafting!!
Well I prefer the Mortality relic for the +1 all necro skills.
The flat vitality damage is only added to skills that have weapon damage component, and Ravenous Earth do not have it.
The talismans give you also a huge dmg boost when you need it, for though monsters.
When you have level up the scales proc, and feel that you no longer need the mana infusion skill - try to make mortality I would say.

Wonderful guide just a little bit stumped at present:
At 24, Act I Veteran complete, Spectral Binding maxed, 5 in Spectral Wrath
I’m at the same stage and i don’t have enough points to do this Spectral wrath is only at 4 points. Is this a typo or have i missed out a respec somewhere?
Only place i can see to get a point back is from 1 in Siphon Souls which the build tells you to pick up much earlier.

Perhaps you have missed the quest where you get 1 skill point reward?
And it is not a big deal if you don’t follow the leveling up scheme 100%. After all, the difference in 4 vs 5 points in Spectral Wrath is extremely tiny.

This is still extremely good guide and build in 1.0.6.1, thank you OP! It’s also very viable build in HC. My first try got me to 94 (Ultimate Gloomwald), SSF with 0 stash. I only died because of sub-optimal path routing: everything was so easy I got a wee bit careless and pulled a pack in a narrow spot :o
I warmly recommend this to anyone seeking to try the extra thrill of hardcore and even farming equipment for other characters 
My only additional advice is not to take the guide’s components/augments suggestions literally. You will probably end up having a bit different set of equipment while leveling so remember to use components and augments to balance out your resistances especially on Elite/Ultimate 
I just want to say that this build is awesome. I used it all the way from level 1 and the leveling was really smooth and easy and it scales really well with better gear too. Still loving my Cabalist! Thanks!

Thanks for the guide, it has been very useful for me to learn about history and the game.
This is still my favorite character to play. I tried a couple of the “high-end” builds but I must not have known how to play them at all because I felt super squishy and couldn’t tank any of the harder stuff that this build can face tank, despite having similar DA and resists. They didn’t seem to do more damage to make up for that either. /shrug

This has been a great build for me. I don’t feel like I am going to just die at any second and sometimes I don’t really pay attention so get close because it works so well. Finished normal and getting close to finishing Elite. Ultimate is not something I ever expected to reach.
I played this build solo selffound to ultimate and lost interest in the game for some months …
Came back yesterday to prepare for FG.
Noticed that i have to kill warden on ultimate to buy merrits for a new char.
I took this char i left months before, i didnt really know how it worked anymore. I havent had my keybinds all ready so i didnt use half of my skills.
It took me less than n hour to run through act 1 ulti and kill warden deathless …
This build rocks !

Hello. Love the build. I used it as a newbie and its going great so far. I’m at level 69, still doing elite. However today I bought forgotten gods. Which of the expansion cults would benefit this build do you think? Which one should we join?
im torn between this once i saw the cults, the ones from greeg would be our go to if i remember some of the items had +1 for RE, however and i forgot the name of this one, there is another cult that offers much more %vitality damage, i would say go for any of those.
