Flat dmg and flat cdr mods is king on REs. This is why it’s worth it to give up the relic slot just to dualwield some combination of Bonespikes and Pandemiums. Imo one of each is the strongest unless you got two GDStashed pimped our Bonespikes with toprolls. Flat dmg applies to every RE projectile so Pandemium and Soulcatcher amulet are real powerful. But without at least one Bonespike you can’t sustain many REs so double Pandemiums only if you wanna go no-green.
I tried the Blood Orb too in 1.6 and it was shite tbh. The only acid on RE is poison and it don’t stack from many projectiles and REs. But I can’t think of a better offhand though if you insist on having one. Maybe there’s sth new in FG, I have looked at vitality yet.
By the way, max Foul Eruption if possible, drop Doom Bolt, max Sigil, drop Siphon, max Wasting.
While on paper it does seem that bonespikes would yield greater results, you honestly can’t make full use of it towards the end stage of the game where you’re forced to reposition constantly.
Meaning you don’t get to benefit from having more RE’s up as they are scattered all over the place.
But when you kite it’s harder to keep DPS constant with max dmg low cdr/duration setups. You get nice spikes, true, but when it comes to Ravenous Earth imo the more the merrier.
I like the middle ground though: one spike one pandemic. Once you got what you need from one bonespike that flat is hard to give up on. Here’s one such setup (all gear legit! I didn’t touch GDS back then) that was born as Bonespike+Blood Orb, went through double Bonespikes and double Pandemics phase and achieved maturity as a combo of both.
Here you got Sigil, some Siphon, procs (ultraBat), and MoT (with TD if I remember right) and dmg absorb from Pissession on top of reduction. Da is a bitch but Wasting and Blood Boil do the job.
EDIT: haha glad you caught on that. Anyways I’m wondering how good ol’ RE is doing now. I don’t know if I still have that build… No, I respecked out of it to test the new Lost Souls pets.
I’m having trouble putting the devotion points for this build. I can’t get Rattosh or Oklaine’s Lantern devotions. I need 10 eldritch points to get Oklaine’s Lantern but I only have 7 after putting points in all the others. I also have 11 points left which is what I need for Rattosh. I know this build is outdated so maybe an update changed something. This was the first ravenous/ vit damage build I found and gathered the equipment for so this is kind of disappointing. Any suggestions?
What you do mate, is you put devotion points into something to clinch you that 10 (we’ll call this devotion X). You get lantern next, and then you spec out of devotion X.
Any tips for beating Lokarr with this type of build? Am I massively undergeared? I’m using potions as well. I have to kite him and can’t control the adds dying so eventually they overwhelm me. Is my DA too low?
