My calculation was done under the assumption “x% chance to cast y” and the reason is because of the quote:
I was under the impression that vere thought that because something has 1/3 chance to occur, one needs 3 trials in order to be guaranteed. Such statement is false. Take a coin for instance, if you flip it two times - are you guaranteed to get at least one heads? No.
So again, my calculation probably not took Fumble mechanics into consideration.
If Circle of slaughter always casts Fumble, with the given x% chance to miss melee attacks under 5 sec duration. Then the calculation I did makes no sense And neither do vere’s statement that I quoted.
Read post above, I might be wrong on how that actual CoS debuff works
The calculation was just to show that if something has say 1/3 chance to occur you are not guaranteed for it to occur at least once even if you do 3, or more, trials.
TY! Hope you’ll enjoy this build, I’m going to make it even better.
I didn’t want to pust some advanced maths there, just an approximation for easier understanding why I do certain things. However, I was wrong anyway
My initial statement was incorrect; fumble is applied instantly and grants enemy 35% (or how much is written on CoS) chance to miss.
Lack of flat absorption; 2) OA and DA are huge PITA to acquire with Cold Trickster. I took as much DA as I could but it’s not enough even with OA shred. This build constantly gets critted on high shards, I saw 18k crit from Aleks meteor.
There are more OA/DA options available, but they all cost damage, I don’t like such tradeoffs.
Edit: I tried this build with Silver Sentinel shoulders too, its sheet DPS is overwhelming (~206k), but it becomes glassy even in Crucible, so I took titans back.
I did not know Mekeritrig before, someone pointed me out in Reddit. I want to see what my build could do though, so far I only theorycrafted it (Alkamo’s Rings, Spellbreaker waistguard and a lvl 100 trickster are some things I don’t have right now)
Good question. I thought seal gave slow resistance along it’s other resistances.
It was more for it’s resistances + a little bit of elemental damage. I do not know what could be better, Seal of Blades for the lifesteal? Seal of Might for a little more Phys Resist?
Also, I found out a major mistake, I’m missing the amulet component. It will probably be Seal of Annihilation though.
I’ll try to fix the slow resistance, just not sure how exactly, but I’ll find out.
The coldstone damage bonus is negligible if you compare to the usefulness of the resists the other components give IMHO (less than 1k more in weapon damage)
https://www.grimtools.com/calc/YVWldbyZ made some changes and changed one augment (the amulet one) to give 15% more slow resistance. Now with buffs (Pneumatic Burst, I think) I have 43% almost always. Is capping slow resist needed?
