Well, looking at the CT description, yes, I see the weapon damage. But what do you mean by ‘‘ADctH is always abilty to heal yourself from skills with weapon damage’’ - where does it come from? Is it innate? Or is there some gear piece/buff I am not seeing?
If you have life steal every skill and proc with WD will heal some portion of damage back.Base is 100 % WD.IF you have 10 % life steal and 50% WD you gonna heal only half of the damage dealt-in this case 5%.Most of vitality spells don’t have weapon damage, but have innate AdctH like siphon souls or sigil of consumption.
I understand that. But what is the source (item or otherwise) that provides AdctH for CT in this build? Asking because 1) could not find any in the Grimtools link (maybe my fail) and 2) I plan to build a character like this, and the item or way that provides lifesteal to CT seems to be a key element and probably one I must acquire first or substitute.
In short, when you said ‘‘IF you have 10 % life steal…’’ - from where?
Look at page 2 of the character sheet. The build has 12% life steal, probably from devotions and gear augments (the gloves for example)
Thank You! Thats what I was asking. I missed the Gloves enchant for 3%, the rest is probably from devotions. Is 12% really enough?
Nice to see that this whole deal is actually a meta build. I ended up doing the Mage Hunter version on my own, just by trying to use whatever works. It has been pretty clear that the Aether conversion has been the way to go.
How do you feel about a full fire version, with the new Vanquisher’s gem? I’m aware it doesn’t necessarily apply to the topic since it’s the AGRIVIX guide, but if you’re willing to part with your opinion that’d be great!
12% should be just about perfect now. I used to run this build usually with 7% and the record was beaten with 4% but that was before the world ended.
is vanquisher good
Converting aether to fire? HERESY!
Hey,
i hit lvl 100 yesterday while using the beginner guide for CT and it worked pretty smooth till now.
Currently im farming the Agrivix items (got lucky and found 2 albrechts rings and the wraithwalker boots)
I would now transit it into a 1hand+OH version using your build as template.
About the weapon. You are using “Mythical Wrath of the Ascendant” just to make sure, thats not the weapon that drops from the endboss in the Port Valbury?
Another question, im seeing alot of spellbinder using “seal of corruption” on the weapon. Since you are spamming CT for health sustain, where do you squeeze the corruption spell in between? do you only use it to sustain the -aether resistance debuff on the enemies?
Hey dude congrat on lvl 100!!!
I also have some transition set-ups using the Krieg set (that is farmable in Elite) in my guide, make sure to check them out too
No, Mythical Wrath of the Ascendant is a random drop
thanks, ithe krieg set was also on my list, it seems suitable for alot of builds.
I just thought it was a world drop like the Agrivix set. i just checked grimtools and it seems to drop from only a few enemys. Easier farming then i guess.
You must be confusing Mythical Wrath of the Ascendant with Decree of Aldritch
no, i meant farming krieg set.
i got confused because both weapons have the same model (or atleast pretty close)
ok yes Krieg set drop from Terrnox (boots), Valaxteria (gloves, shoulder) and Fleshwarped Krieg (head, chest)
It is my opinion that double Albrechts, Eyes of the Guardian, Bone Harvests, points from physique in spirit… these things are a song of the past evergone. One Eternal Haunt - if but a shadow of its former self - is BiS and there’s no shade of doubt about it anymore…
wraithwalker boots
“Master Agrivix, stripped of his riches and cast into the bowels of poverty, can no longer afford the luxuries of skill bonuses and extra damage. In his diminished health, he must spend his last days wearing the old ragged Stormtitan’s Treads.”
You are using “Mythical Wrath of the Ascendant” just to make sure, thats not the weapon that drops from the endboss in the Port Valbury?
That would be Decree of Aldrich, another crumbling monument to binders’ lost glory. Until you get the belt and the amulet it’s actually better than Wrath.
Another question, im seeing alot of spellbinder using “seal of corruption” on the weapon. Since you are spamming CT for health sustain, where do you squeeze the corruption spell in between? do you only use it to sustain the -aether resistance debuff on the enemies?
Aether Corruption is a spreading debuff with a few seconds duration and small dmg ticks every second. You cast it once every few seconds or when a fresh mob shows up. Every cast is DPS loss on your main spam but if you hold back on mindless keyboard smashing have some control over your skills (and you need quite a lot of that with binders, always did, even before the nerfs) it’s negligible.
You sound like a broken man, robbed by his dreams, chasing after them like a young boy.
it sounds that Binder are a mere shadow of their former self, struggling to keep his place amoungst his successors.
I wonder about performance of the binder in SR?Aether is direct damage without dot, small armor and physical res it doesn’t look suitable at all.On flip side I have suspicion that CT with lots of burn, sorc or Templar will be very good.
the blueprint for eternal haunt isnt buyable, is it?
I assume random world drop/treasure trove
Honestly I haven’t tried but I wouldn’t expect miracles. I think nemeses will burst though MoT already at 50-60. To me it seems a total antithesis of a successful shards build - it’s stationary, needs tightly packed mobs, plays pretty much like a channeling build, has no access to health, da and cc res. But I might be wrong. Mirror-MoT-blink-kite-repeat might carry you further than I’d expect.
I would love to hear from someone who did try though.
Random drop yes
