Hi - just got turned on to your build here as a result of looking for super lazy cold nightblade builds - seems great, but actually TOO lazy for me even hehe - I play on an xbx controller so less is more, but want to get an extra active button or two - i juuust got a shard of beronath drop for the first time ever and i want to try it as auto attack replacer - SS in left trigger, then switch to that on right trigger for WPS procs - can that fit easily in this build and if so what devotion would you affix to it?

Yes, it fits well. You can bind Beronath to Amatok because Blade Spirits won’t reliable proc it on single targets.

Sorry for the necro, but are loxmere’s daggers still preferable after all the nerfs, or would spectral longsword be better now?

This was the first build that I fell in love with a long time ago. It was simple to play, quick and strong.

Do you think it’s worth updating it? I’m looking for a Shadow Strike focused build like this.
Do I give it another go as of current patch, or should I look somewhere else?

A lot of stuff about SS was buffed. If anything, the build should be better than ever before. I’m not up to date with the state of early game so can’t give an educated calc as a target. How easy is it to get regular blue items now? Can you get two Nighstorn rings and Cortosian chest? if yes then they are the way to go. Anything you want. Belgo, Pierce Caster (even Pierce Kalastor caster), Rimetongue (cold or Pierce), Chillwhisper. Pick your poison (and I can provide you with grimtools).
