[1.1.7.1] Conjurer of the Dark Arts - 6:30m Crucible 150-170, "naked" Crucible, SR 85+, all Celestials, no greens immortal Conjurer

I always had the impression of blood pact acting like global buff and it’s separate source from the main skill-Wendigo totem thus not reflecting the damage.

If by reflecting, you mean leeching, then yes (because I wouldn’t know where reflect damage is coming from :p)

Blood pact IS a global buff. Pets, allies, etc. will all benefit from it. But the flat damage isn’t added onto totem itself, and because totem has 0% WD, it will adcth for 0%.

It is a global buff, that’s what I said, right? I am a bit tired and making some silly language mistakes. Global buff to %vitality damage from Blood Pact is kind of negligible however.

It’s my fault actually . I used blood pact on melee Ritualist and it’s adding flat damage to Savagery, but here will be doing nothing.

My question was that the flat damage from Wendigo is affecting only skills with WD and not the flat on Wendigo totem, right? That’s my understanding.

Yes, it makes sense to minimize it in this case because you are already at 3100%, so for example 150% more (approx max Pact) would equate to only around 5% damage increase. For another 17 skill points.

Correct. Flat damage on Wendigo Totem itself is affected by global %Vitality/Vitality Decay modifiers and skill modifiers (like the ones from the set and from the medal).

At the end of the day, it boils down to crafter’s preference, because the results here seem pretty even.

Lee is trying to cast as many different vit based skills as he can to dish out the pain, and he’s doing that brilliantly here.

Whereas I’m trying to focus on making RE hit like a truck, while using a seal granted skill to support it.

To further clarify’s what Lee is saying - it’s not that blood pact isn’t worth investing in, it just doesn’t align with his build concept, making it a waste here.

This is pretty fucking dope!

Btw, on a completely unrelated note, Zantai should nerf John_Smith

Nice build lee.

but i don’t think it slipped. With these chars as long as you don’t get one shot, your HP is back up in half a second

Do the 2x Wendigo totems do nice damage?

Edit: Sad to see just how bad Radaggan is ( specialized in seals) compared to this one. But on the plus side it makes a good point of it. You eve used the illusions for it so it hurts more

@superfluff: Does the damage from multiple wendigo totems stack? I was under the impression that they work like wind devils, because it’s a debuff.

@jawa: I believe all my vit builds use rattosh. It’s great!

If you’re vitality build the devotion route is pretty much fixed on getting Rattosh+Dying God. Then you just decide what support constellations you’ll take.

Skill nobody maxed before is worth maxing, woe is me…

They do. Not the main damage dealer in the build, but they contribute at least 20% of total damage.

I think it does.

Always you, man!

Adding some deep Shard action videos, courtesy of @John_Smith.

Shards 92-94 Boss arenas no deaths
Multiple deaths at Shard 95

As you can see, there are instances when even this build has to kite.

In all fairness Z, i think it was kinda hard to max totems before even if you wanted to.

Well, it’s not subsixing so I guess it’s ok with Z.

BTW how are those SR90 runs done exactly with 2.9k da and under 2k armor? I know sustain is off the charts but what about one shots?

DA is more than enough given that we instantly shred enemies OA by 420. Armor is just typical caster’s armor value, with okay physical resist it works. And build has 15k hp so it’s never one-shotted (actually it was being one-shotted at Shard 96 by Fabius with Notched Bone, but obviously you can’t counter that).

EDIT: Shield from off-hand helps a bit too.

@mad_lee: Bro, I know you love your 10/10 CoF, but I feel like those are some wasted points.

6/10 is good enough imo.

Invest the rest in something else. Even AoTG can net you 2% phys res.

Nein!

I love my 10/10 CoF, it’s just too convinient. If anything, I should probably move some points from Blood of Dreeg into Destruction.

It’s not as though you even need -RR on mobs mate. Your trash clear is already top notch as it is.

CoF is only really impactful on big baddies at this point.

Or am I missing something?
