[1.1.7.1] Conjurer of the Dark Arts - 6:30m Crucible 150-170, "naked" Crucible, SR 85+, all Celestials, no greens immortal Conjurer

Thank you, i knew where to look for which bonusses the blacksmiths have. But I was not getting, that only one of the bonusses is applied to a crafted item. Found it on the wiki .

Despite some nerfs in 1.1.7.0 build is still going strong. Decided to give it an ultimate stress test and took it to Shard 90. Also had some fun with Fevered Rage in bannered Crucible. None of this stuff would ever be required for farming of course, but itā€™s nice to see that build still pretty tanky despite not using OP Morgoneth stick.

Hello, thanks for the build!

I leveled up using Neryā€™s guide and transitioned into this one. I have almost all the items at this point, just missing a ring and a belt and so far itā€™s amazing! I was wondering what you would run to farm gear for other characters, this is my only ā€œcapableā€ character and Iā€™m thinking of leveling some alts now. Iā€™ve been doing some elite SR 65-66, think thatā€™s efficient?

With this one I would got straight up to SR 75-76 in Ultimate. All the loot is there and for this build itā€™s a breeze. Btw, what ring are you missing?

Iā€™m missing the ring of Morgoneth and using the Signet of the Fallen until it drops. Iā€™m also wearing the Boneweave Girdle until I get the belt. Iā€™ll give SR 75-76 in Ultimate a shot and see how it goes!

Hmm, I recommend farming Morgoneth till you drop the ring. It should take less than few hours to get it. In SR 75-76 just be sure to deploy totems before engaging and you will always be fun.

a doubt the construction with nightbringer or yours is better

Nice Aether Sigils. Morgoneth should be tankier but build is already super tanky so damage and quality of life is definitely with my spec. And extra tankiness is only needed for Shards 90+.

@Kfish Iā€™m quite in the same boat. Did the levelling with Neryā€™s guide and donā€™t have Morgonethā€™s ring (got the belt though) :upside_down_face:. I use the Cursebearer as substitute.
Pushed shards to 65/66 and did the Unstoppable Lord of the Crucible achievement with this setup.
So i guess Iā€™ll farm Morgoneth still and then let the loot rain .

This is a sweet, sweet build. Just took out Avatar of Mogdrogen without a problem. On my way to Crate to see if I can take that out as well. I like the fact I donā€™t need any other buffs such as potions. John Smith wrecked Crate but are there any augment swaps recommended like the Mogdrogen battle or do I use completely unaltered ?

It might sound weird but Iā€™m more concerned about getting across the BBB without dying. Iā€™ve killed most of the camels when I come across them, stopped in the sanctuaries that sometimes appear and encourage camels to follow me so I have some spares to feed off, but I still die at last once or twice. How do I stop doing that ?

I actually never fought Crate ever, so canā€™t help you here. He is a randomly unfair boss so I donā€™t think you can prepare to him. Maybe drink all the potions, I dunno, for better overcaps and such and prepare some aether crystals or smth.

Probably a good call. The Bone bleach basin is a pain to get across, the oversized maggots are brutal and then you get to fight Crate. Crate isnā€™t randomly unfair, heā€™s totally unfair all the time :grinning: The video is good at showing me there are no potion buffs required but I also donā€™t see a lot of those annoying boxes that spam either. Itā€™s not the loot Iā€™m after, since it is nothing worth getting - just want to be able to say been there done that. I guess Iā€™ll just go and slog it out and see what happens.

Not true at all. Heā€™s just the antithesis of Crucible build design.

This build in particular would have immense difficulty with Crate by design, which really speaks to the quality of piloting by John Smith to manage the task.

I managed to get through the basin without dying and then through the maggots. Got Crate half way but then those mini-me boxes just go nuts and I die. Still I think I can take it out - a lot more kiting then Iā€™d hoped for.

Dusted off this beast of old and decided to kill Ravager after some people asked how. Died the first time because of the wrong tactic and no pre-buff potions (and no health potions) but got him the second time full facetank mod in 3 minutes.

Can you give your opinion on the pros and cons of RektByProtossā€™s Nightbringer Conjurer vs your build?

Generally I figure he took a few things that benefit from 2h, but the builds are pretty similar.

I think for super hardcore challenges like Shards 90+ his spec should be tougher. But mine should have more damage and be much more pleasant to play because it doesnā€™t have Savagery charges and his spec has 133% cast speed with Hungering Void which makes rotation casting a bit painful.

@mad_lee sorry beginner here, I noticed that there is Plague of Corruption skill granted by item and it is bound to right click. How does it work? As I noticed, when I test it on dummy nothing happens.

Also, I have similar question about Bloody Pox. When I spam the button for it, the skill never goes to cooldown and nothing happens.

PS. Grimtools is all the same, no worries about that. Great build thanks, just have these doubtsā€¦

Both of the spells spread jumping from one mob to another. You can see an icon for each of them if you look at the dummy more closely. You only have to cast them once if every few seconds. Plague of Corruptionā€™s should be casted as soon as itā€™s off cooldown because itā€™s duration is as long as its cooldown.

Iā€™m actually curious, what do you think of scales on this build ( like this https://www.grimtools.com/calc/pZrwk73N) ? I am surprised no one has mentioned them.
