If you just started I would go for Dark one conjurer/cabalist/ritualist or Krieg Death Knight since they got good farmable sets and will help to farm harder content like crucible/sr so you can get all items for rest more gear demanding and expensive builds. Retaliations need very specific gear to work so I don’t recommend them for start.

Oppressor (Oathkeeper + Necromancer) is one of the new class combos in FG. Usually when you create build you check what resistant reduction have in common both
classes. Both classes reduce vitality resistance of monsters,so it’s good way to start. And also nice overall synergy, which makes Oppressor premier class for a vitality caster.

Deathknight is often said to be a good build for beginners, the reason being the uniqueness of Krieg set. Unlike most items in the game that are random drops, this set can be acquired by farming certain bosses in Malmouth. The fact that you still somehow need to farm it is often omitted though. This guide is intended to provide guidelines to playing Deathknight before he gets Krieg set and Mindwarp.
