I wonder why that is the case, I have read about lightning forcewave in old threads, but I can’t see where the build I made now would suck more than fire forcewave
My Tactician was able to beat Gladiator , but around 9.40 time with 3 buffs and 1 banner. And waves 169 and 170 can be problematic, cause build can’t clear enemies faster.
Warder might be better offensively, but no damage reduction, no seal and no heal.So it needs to be kiter. Interesting setup is Ultos weapon Primal Strike and Forcewave as filler.
War Cry?
Warlord have no seal or heal either.
I picked up storm totem and maelstrom, might give some damage when you need to kite

Aeon route was better. It is what it is. Can’t really complain about a build clearing that high in SR
Does this build need to be updated? i don’t rly remember any changes to forcewave but still want to be sure
Gear probably needs refresh but build isn’t much changed, at least not the core. Weapon was buffed but on general physical damage isn’t in best possible shape. So decent but not spectacular build. Oh and I would change a little bit devotions for higher life steal!
so my gear is shit and im still pretty new to gd, im definitely lacking some extra damage procs or abilities like from doom relic, isnt it worth putting 1 point in the proc abilities if they get free levels from other gear? (zolhan, markovian) for me they are level 6 and 7 from items
For Zolhan and Markovian you need auto attack replacer like Cadence or Righteous Fervor. Forcewave won’t trigger them.
Perhaps make a thread with your character imported to Grim Tools so others can tell you what you’re lacking (devotions, gear, skill point distribution) or follow a beginner’s guide for Forcewave. Extra abilities are just an icing on the cake not needed for a character to have good damage.

You can also target farm Blueprint: Relic - Deathstalker by killing Manticore Deathstalker. It’s a great relic as well, the summon has permanent -10% Physical Resistance aura.

You can craft theses ones if you have them: Deathstalker, Honor or low level Soldier relics, I think one was called Oleron and it was good as well.
i have another question about the rings, to me they dont look very offensive, are they mostly good in high crucible or are they better than i think? i’m using a coven storm seal and a bladetwister signet at the moment but i do have the ring set now
Well unless you fight single bosses without spawns, proc will be up all the time and provides stats like OA, DA and speed. Also some RR.
But Coven Ring+Black Matriarch might be good too if your cast speed is already at 200%. With no max speed, isn’t worth taking other rings.
