[1.3.0.5] Evoker cold Winds of Asterkarn experimental build

I just suddenly wanted to make a build based on Winds of Asterkarn.

Hadn’t played the game in a looong time before the latest update came out, and completely skipped the Forgotten Gods until now. So I can’t test the build in the Shattered Realm just yet.

Looks good! I will add it to my beginner guide

Question: why you take elemental storm when you get RR to WoA from stormfang set?

Isn’t the resistance reductions from different sources stacks with each other?
And if reductions stack, then it should work better than simply additional damage against high resistance targets.

not flat resistance reductions only -x% will stack with each other.

Hmm… Revised the devotion build a bit.

Very good!

Now, you necklace has no rolls and your offensive ability is very very low

Consider “of attack” and shift points from iskadnra elemental exchange to overload and inner focus

Yep, Iskandra’s Elemental Exchange at 1+5 is quite enough for stable mana regen during fights.
Also found a more suitable amulet with a similar HP regen effect in the item database.

I suppose that any further significant increase in Offensive Ability is only possible in exchange for high sustainability, which is something I definitely don’t want to lose.

Since you’re going for an Evoker using Stormfang with WoA, it might be a good idea to switch to the Cold Devastation Conduit. Your damage will at least double (probably triple!) and WoA refreshes the CD of Devastation in no time flat.

To do that, one point Everwinter and Conversion and move points around - it’ll be well worth it!

Well, that will definitely increase the total damage, but I personally don’t like the Devastation. It has super loud effects and devastate my ears.

Fair point! I just cover my ears… :hear_no_evil:
