I’d like the ability to select all towers and barracks at once so I can enable/disable them easily with one click rather than having to select every building.
I disable defensive buildings between raids to add to the workfroce and to save gold.

I really hope this would come as well, especially for towers. I saw this asked already a couple of times in the past. Crossing my fingers!
Maybe I’m misunderstanding, do you mean to say that you disable the slots for villagers to fill those roles when not under attack? In that case, why cant you just go to the occupations window and empty them out, then you don’t need to click every building.
Also, I’ve found that if I hired guards/soldiers after an attack has been alerted to me, they wont have enough time to get weapons/armour and then attack the raiders in decent time.

because I leave the option “Auto-refill professions” on, and the prevents from from adding or removing people

in my experience they do not attack more than once every two years, and only starting at spring or summer. If by fall a raid has not come, they won’t come that year. So you can pretty much tell when they will come and have all your defenses up by the time they arrive. So around spring, after two years of a raid, I enable the defenses. So far this method has always worked.
Edit: I am playing on easy diffuculty btw. I am guessing that’s why the raids might be less frequent.
