I would recommend to add new job classes and buildings for primary resources.
Since the village growing up, you have no control about your workers, who collect resources and build sth.
Would be better to add new jobs and buildings like:
- lumberjack
- quarry
- craftsman
Problem as follows: The more you build, the more people you need to staff.
If you want to build more, or you concentrate to get more primary ressources, workers will follow your primary advise.
If you have more different jobs, you can easily navigate.
You need more wood? Build some lumberjack.
You need more stone? Build more qurries.
Actually is the system kinda squishy to control, what’s primarily needed.
I also would appreciate, if workers could have access to all goods wherever they are.
I know, the mechanic - efficiency - should you think about more where to place stuff and so on, but if you have a map with spreaded ressources, you have to build more warehouses than you need, to increase efficiency of your workers.
Last but not least, there are too less ways to increase gold income for payment of pharmacy and military.
Options are to lower costs of buildings, higher taxes or more buildings for income.
Summary: More control regarding steady growing ressources, efficiency control, lower costs du to high management costs.
