After almost 50 hours of gameplay, I don’t know if the DEVs really intended such a complex logistical system in the game but here are some improvement suggestions that 99% of players would be grateful for:
A “checkbox” to not allow villagers on foot to collect from the structure.
Allow wagons to collect material from structures such as hunters’ huts, fishing huts, mills and farms, however, they only deliver to warehouses and markets (as it is currently, with the exception of the mill and market… why a wagon cannot deliver a load of wheat straight into the mill and remove a load of flour from it?).
Allow wagons to transfer products between warehouses.
An action area for the wagon or even the point-to-point configuration (as in “Captain of Industry”)
Last but not least, an “allow all” or “disable all” button on warehouses… it’s too much micromanagement to disable 1 by 1 what you don’t want delivered.

Transportiere Holz+Stein vom Stapelplatz beim Arbeiterlager zum Zentrallager in der Stadt.
Transportiere Eisenerz vom Stapelplatz bei der Mine zum Stapelplatz bei der Giesserei.

In particular to 3.: I think it would be great if you could provide the transport trolleys with a logic, since they can quickly transport goods between two warehouses. A small menu where you can choose for example:
Transport wood+stone from stockpile at worker camp to central warehouse in town.
Transport iron ore from the mine stockpile to the foundry stockpile.
We need to be able to set number limits to products in storages. I want to let my smoke house workers to store in the storage close to them but that storage shouldn’t end up with hundreds of smoked fish, wagons should be carrying excess to another.
Totally agree with this! maybe add an option for a storages to prioritise on a specific resource, over other storages. for example: add the option “empty” or “get” besides “allow” or “dont allow”? would save a lot of trouble if i could have a wagon stock my storehouses near my industry district with the resources i get from out of town. now, its a huge pain to get the clay, iron, wood, planks, etc to the place where i need them.
