Alcohol still literally not worth giving towns

I agree, thats why i stopped soon with building/keeping them.

Will devs ever respond to this thread about whether or not they intend to revisit pubs?

I’ve literally never built one because I’ve read so much negativity about them. They don’t seem worth the stress. It seems like it really needs to be addressed and it’d be nice to know the devs’ stance on it.

They are currently in a hurry to meet the schedule. They don’t know what’s important. They are completely focused on the official launch next year. It seems like each person has a different position.

I think pubs are a good mechanic that could be improved a bit. That said, I build pubs in every game and honestly I think that all the killing spree thing is a bit overrated even if it’s not fun when it happens.
But for me, happened so rarely that I found it tolerable.

What I find more annoying is the drunkiness going around with beer… It’s simply too much to bear and it often strikes hard a single sector of your industry, leading to potentially devastating results. This should be improved in some way…

I put pubs in every town i build, 1 per 500 people. I have very few negative events. Deleting and replacing the offending soldier/hunter/guard or sending them too their doom are effective ways of ending the onslaught.

ich baue auch Kneipen, lasse sie aber unbesetzt und verkaufe das Bier. das ändert an der Zufriedenheit gar nichts. ist mir noch nicht aufgefallen.
