I think a good April fools that obviously would cause minimal rage would be to provide an alpha release which is full size…and have it just be hi rez videos of mobs dancing.

Tried playing PoE again yesterday but lost interest again in a matter of 2-3 hours.

Having sneak peak Alpha footage being mobs dancing to the tune of ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ however would be hilarious.
I think an even better April Fool’s joke would be the announcement of the requirement of an always on-line connections and a RMAH to the game.
The best part is it could be openly discussed in 99% of threads as a joke, but there would still be that one guy who would believe it and get rage banned in a matter of minutes. The internet never fails.
Someone knews when the alpha will come? it will come before April or they will need more time?

Well it’s been a month since we got an update now.
I’m not asking for a release, just something fresh and new to read would be great, keeping the community alive.

So I haven’t been on in forever and am a bit behind on news. I did read the alpha update and the Misadventure #17 someone linked in the recent replies. I am glad they are working hard to make sure we get a good alpha.
Anyway, how does one get access to the alpha? Is it closed or open?
You will be able to access it if you have a patron edition or higher tier version.
It’ll be offline/single player mode of act 1. I assume you’ll have access to a download link with the game key you’ve acquired. (by mail or through this site)
I assume those are editions of the game? Is there a way I can still get them?
