I thought I saw a post from one of the dev’s saying it should be the first quarter of 2013.
Sooo it’s a month after the first quarter and my guess is that the Alpha won’t be available for another couple months, so JUNE is my alpha guess.
As for them running into problems…all gaming companies “Run into Problems”
My guess (not that it’s worth a damn penny) is the beta won’t be out until November or December. The actual game full release would be this time Next year 2014.
They didn’t give us a date write on stone for the alpha. They didn’t say “Alpha March 15”, or “February 23”. They said, “IF everything goes well and there’s no problems, alpha will probably be ready early 2013.” They had problems, so alpha was not ready early 2013. And that’s all. Trying to look any further than that is pointless.
And I’m out of this conversation, cause probably people is starting to feel like I’m part of the development team, or something like that .
So, according to that guesstimate post posted about 2 weeks ago, it should be any day…
But, they never can say for sure so… I’ll believe it when I see it. The alpha is the sole reason I check this forum. See ya all tmw morning when I check again.
I havented used my credit card in April, hopefully it can be used on this ( gonna buy it the day alpha comes out).
Well the Humble Store is going well imo, since that was one of medierra’s concerns. Otherwise the alpha is already being tested (by a select few) and has been patched/updated a few times already to fix major bugs/crashes.
I agree that Monday will be more forthcoming with information so see you till then.
crossing fingers for this monday…funny thing is id rather sit and stare at grimdawns page than actually play any other current game on the market.sad but true.counting on grimdawn to be the game that gets me back into gaming.we all can wait ,just make it awesome!!
I love the enthusiasm on this forum, but people are asking for a playable alpha and they should be careful what they wish for. Alphas are not for general consumption, they are created to demonstrate the mechanics of the game so that problems can be identified and solved. So hopefully what everyone here is saying is that they’re really eager to playtest a game that is not yet any fun at all and submit some bug reports. Otherwise, you are thinking of a public beta, which is much later in the process.
Welcome to the forums! If you followed the latest threads more closely, you would already know that this is not your typical alpha version. The limited content in this alpha version will be pretty much complete.
So one thing is for sure: that it will be much fun to play around with it.
