Am i the only one who thinks legendary droprate is too high?

Title says it all… i mean, i wanna play this game for years to come, not for two weeks…

I’d be happy with a leg like every 20h of playtime but well, modern times - that’s not gonna happen…
But atm for me it feels like i get one every ten minutes, wich is just too much .

Well, legendaries don’t drop like they do in D3. Sometimes it is often, other times it is rare… RNG is a powerful tool.

You could start a timer and throw away all but one after 20hrs is up?

I mean, getting that first legendary takes a while… it being lvl 50 and all.

Well, then i have very constant super-duper-unbelievably good RNG. I’m lvl 73 one ONE freaking char, and i’m starting to vendor legs :(. Feels awkward, but what can you do…

Vendoring legendary legs? Blasphemy

Are you just finding the same sort-of-crappy ones over and over again and not much that is usable to you?

I’ve gotten about 4-5 legendaries so far and I’m 75 on Ultimate.

If that’s too high I can’t imagine what low is.

im lvl 31 and i never saw one :frowning:

Legendary start dropping starting from elite, not before.

My experience is totally the opposite to yours - if i dont farm exclusively Nemesis in Elite (since i cannot kill them in Ultimate) i get 1 per 2-3 hours farming.

And it is usually 5th pair of Golemborn/Venomspite boots, 4th Havoc pistol ot 8th Adversary rifle…

I hunt down a bunch of purple monsters. Old briar born, the spider in the same area, Manticore boss in jagged waste. Gollus and spider queen. They drop pretty good MIs and legendaries. Plus, the star heroes can drop some nice stuff too.

You can get Legendaries on Normal/Vet, the rate is just much lower than in the harder difficulties. Just gotta kill level 50+ monsters.

Pretty sure I got 1 or 2 in vet when farming BoC. Did they change that? Always thought the only requirement was the character level.

My mistake. Never took the time to stick around in normal to try to farm legendaries. My misinformation

@slayre: Well oc i’m only vendoring duplicates that are not universally useful.

Today in like 2h of playtime i found 7, the best one being definitely Peerless eye of beronath. (Would never vendor that before i got at least ten or so  ) Also Arcane harmony leggins, wich are decent, coz full skill disruption protection. The rest rather unimpressive. (Golemborn asf.) But still…

@Glimpse: true most duplicates are not the top-tier legs… just feels so awkward to vendor or dismantle them, even if they are not BiS…

I haven’t found more than 10 and my char is level 85 in ultimate. I have found only one for my build and no dups. I think the rate is pretty fine as it is, according to my experience so far. One legendary drop for every 20 hours of gaming time is too long imho. You have to take in account how many of those will be appropriate for your build too, which lowers the chances for a good legendary. I am in act 3 ultimate and I still haven’t found a really decent weapon, all the way from normal to ultimate.

I think droprate for legendaries is ok.

My lvl 45 Druid on normal has just found his first legendary in Sunken Reliquary. Found about 10 so far with my lvl 72 Blade master in Elite, so I think drop rates are fine.

I think the droprate for legendaries is perfect. I mean, really perfect.

Playing my conjurer I hit 50 (when legendaries start to show up) exactly the time I got to Fort Ikon.
So I did all of the Fort Ikon stuff, quests, outcast, chtlon rifts, explored all gates of necropolis and did 1 run of BoC. Cant say how much time it took but I got 3 Legendaries, 2 for drops and 1 for quest after killing Log.

I think it was just right, perfect
