[Major New Features]
- The highly unpopular Custom Game mode has been replaced by Scorv Mode. For more details, please read our preview!
[Shattered Realm]
- Based on player’s average item level, all monsters are replaced by a combination of Mogdrogen, Ravager and Callagadra.
- Shards 211 through 9001 have been added to the game just so we could make that one overused joke again.
- The Shattered Realm now features duct tape drops to help finally put it back together.
[Crucible]
- One hundred new Crucibles have been added to the game. To compensate, Lokarr only appears in 5 of them at any given time.
- To address an issue where monsters sometimes don’t leave their spawn areas, all monsters have been removed from the Crucible.
- To ensure build balance, the Crucible now ends at 6 minutes, whether completed or not.
[Art]
- Tightened graphics at level 100 to match the quality of level 3.
- Replaced all fonts with Comic Sans.
- With this update, the game has been fully arted and no further art will be arted.
[Tech]
- Fixed an issue…you know what you did.
- Player skill selection has been hardcoded to prevent bad builds.
- Racoon-based timers have been replaced by the Cheetah Cycle for optimized script execution.
- All in-game text is now generated by a script bot. Unfortunately, this does mean that The Trip South has devolved into a story about cheese. We’re still investigating how the AI came to that conclusion.
[Game]
- To better reflect reality, Iron Bits have been replaced with rolls of toilet paper.
- Added reticulated tortoise overlod mesh for timing of coordinated airstrikes.
- Bear enemies have been added to the game, featuring a brand new music track!
- Bears have been removed from the game for further balancing.
- Gazerman was here.
- After the 1000th bug report about Stairs, we think we are finally ready to remove stairs from the game.
- Malmouth has finished burning down and is now a giant pile of ashes, finally living up to the expansion title.
- A good Defensive Ability now also increases Offensive Ability.
- Fire damage now scales with sick burns.
[Itemization]
- To alleviate excessive loot drops, Double Rare Monster Infrequents have been removed from the game.
- Added unique Monster Infrequents for every individual monster in the game so you can get to know them better before slaughtering them in horrible ways.
- To make Legendary items feel truly legendary, their level requirement has been increased to 101.
- Added a Credit Card gear slot to offer alternative forms of payment.
- To cut out the middleman, all gear is now generated through GDStash.
- To ensure equal use of all Relics, Relics can no longer be equipped.
[Class & Skills]
- All classes have been moved to online only.
Devotion
- The Eldritch Sun constellation is now only available to players that chose the bad ending.
- Selecting the Dying God constellation now removes control of your character and causes it to go on a murderous rampage to harvest blood.
- All bonuses have been removed from the Rattosh constellation. It didn’t work for the Arkovians and it’s not going to work for you.
Soldier
- The Soldier mastery now requires that players get through boot camp.
- Blade Arc now requires two of every blade.
- Fighting Form is in the best shape of its life.
- Squad Tactics now enables a turn-based combat mode.
Demolitionist
- Improved Casing is now made with aircraft grade aluminum for optimal aerodynamics.
- Brimstone no longer gives off a rotten egg smell.
- Shattering Blast now only works in the Shattered Realm.
- Flashbang has been renamed to Bright Light to sound less lewd.
Occultist
- Doom Bolt has been renamed to Mood Bolt and now changes colors based on your mood.
- Possession is now a federal offense.
- Bonds of Bysmiel are now extra furry.
- Eye of Dreeg now requires a giant contact lens to maximize damage.
Nightblade
- Phantasmal Blades no longer do damage in the physical realm.
- Circle of Slaughter has been renamed to Circle of Laughter for a good time.
- Execution has been postponed for further evidence.
- Night’s Chill now deals 50% less damage during the Summer.
Arcanist
- Mirror of Ereoctes knows who is the prettiest of them all.
- Absolute Zero has been made a constant for scientific purposes.
- Shattered Star now only works in the Shattered Realm.
- Inner Focus and Mental Alacrity seem redundant, so both have been deleted.
Shaman
- Wendigo Totem now has a 1% chance to summon Ravager.
- Raging Tempest has received the help it needs and has been renamed to Calm Tempest.
- Entangling Vines now works on a quantum level.
- Primal Strike now deals beast damage.
Inquisitor
- Word of Pain is now less effective against sticks and stones.
- Intensify is still intensifying, please check back later.
- Infernal Purge would like to apologize for putting those hot peppers in your Untouched Meals.
- Endless Flame has been recognized as an alternate energy source.
Necromancer
- Ill Omen is not looking good.
- Ravenous Earth now scales with Untouched Meals.
- Will of the Crypt would prefer to go by its full name, William
- Blood Boil no longer works at room temperature to reflect reality.
Oathkeeper
- Ascension: to balance out foot traffic during rush hour, a duplicate skill has been added called Descension, which is functionally the same, but the duration and cooldown are reversed.
- Judgment is now 30% more judgmental. Those shoes with those gloves? Really?
- Avenging Shield is now part of a 10 movie line-up.
- Tectonic Shift now only works along fault lines.
