Army invasion feedback

When an army is about to invade your settlement, you get a count down timer of about 12 months.
This is great, you get to decide on your approach for a certain amount of time. But do you really? No.

The 2 options you get are to Pay up, which of course we don’t want to even if we have enough money.
Or we Deny and fight it out. But! Pressing Deny instantly marches the army towards your city.

That’s why I now have to resort to dragging the notification to a side of the screen while I build up my own army and towers, having the notification block a part of my screen for those 12-ish months.

A solution would be to either have Deny be more like a "ask me again in " or provide us with a 3rd button which would be to either “ask me again later” or minimize the pop-up.

Also, some of my current raids are also nearly as large as these army invasions.

76k gold!!! LOL I thought my 25k bank was a lot. I managed to defeat one of these armies without having nearly anything looted, but they destroyed my theater, which then caused all the homes near it to abandon for poor desirability (previous patch) and I couldn’t get my laborers/builders to fix it as they just do whatever else they wanted even with it listed as a priority, and all my residents that left their homes for not having their precious theater… froze to death in the winter. 440 people down to nearly 200 on a “successful” defense lol.

hahaha ouch
Yea this was an invasion of 138 raiders. I can afford to pay it since I have over 120k in my vaults.
My problem now is that I need stone to repair my walls every time they try to raid me but stone is getting farther and farther away to collect. I can still trade stone, but it’s by far not enough to keep up with the upkeep.
Maybe they should consider renaming the game to Farthest Stone or something :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Yeah, at first I thought having a limited resource was fine, but they really need to add in a rock quarry or something. I’m fine with making it somewhat limited in the rate you can mine it, but at some point, you will end up clearing out an entire map, and the trader is just not good enough for a resource that is used to repair walls, gates, and building upkeep. Even on Alpine Valley there isn’t enough stone.

Yeah, you are actually supposed to be given time if you decline, at which point you must pay up or fight. Currently that extra time is not given. That bit is bugged.
