Asset Manager -- login ?

I get the image shown in the guide (Working Directory, Build Directory and so on)
but what is this “Asset Manager Login” ?

There is another application called “SourceServer” bundled with the tools that acts as a server which allows you to collaborate with other people. The asset manager login screen allows you to connect to a server if you’re running one.

Is there a guide/tutorial that goes into depth explaining how to set up the source server so I can collaborate with other people utilizing asset manager?
