When we save a new game, it just defaults to the Town Name with nothing else. Can we get it to default to “Town Name [Date/Time of Save]” or something better as a default?

Good idea!
Once you have your town running for a while when you go to save the game will ask you if you want to overwrite an earlier save which does have that info.
