Barricade revisited

Posted a new shot of the barricade outside of Devil’s Crossing. You’ve seen it before but I thought it would be interesting to show the progress. Eventually I’d like to have some new art for the actual barricade itself but one thing at a time…

I’m going to try to get a couple more screenshots up before September. Sorry that this month has been slow so far… well, slow for you perhaps… extremely busy for me! :wink:

edit. I was going to start a thread but I’ll just post it here…I keep seeing track marks in the dirt(and NO horse/cattle prints) and was wondering what modes of transport or vehicles will be in GD? Some of them almost look like tire tracks…

PS: I just noticed that the most recent shots have anti-aliasing enabled.

Out of curiosity, have you guys fixed the bug that would disable anti-aliasing near cave entrances?

Indeed he is - you have an eye for the buttstroke!

This is actually the intended look as it is meant to be a crude, low-level sword crafted out of a sharpened peice of scrapmetal.

Great to have a new screenshot. Thanks for letting us see some of the progress that has been made.

I do have a question though. Is there going to be any more ornate victorian style architecture in the game? I realize that the game’s name is Grim Dawn and the world is in a bit of disarray, but it would still be nice to see a more civilized area with buildings representing the style of the time period you are loosely modeling the game after. I suppose I’m also wondering if there will be areas within Cairn that serve as a contrast to the crypts, swamps, and dilapidated places we’ve been exposed to so far.

i would like some of the broken jail wall segments in the barricade, if they diddnt rebuild the jailthe stonework would be perfict defeses
