And i thought my chaos EOR is sad enough. I mean that attack speed is painful on EOR build. But you just dont get enough support for Aether.
Heres my take on the chaos version https://www.grimtools.com/calc/gZwLp0bN

My DW aether Oppressor and 2h chaos Sentinel.
Note that the ascension prefix on the conduit for aether version got nerfed, now the aether EoR prefix is way better. Chaos version in the video is slightly outdated, but the GT link in the description is up to date.
Both builds are decent, but definitely not top tier.
I see
And fight in Cruci with 4 blesses (or banners) is abuse too?
Nevermind if it is part of gameplay
What I want to say
In Cruci you can buff yourself and fight with all enemies
In SR you can charge your brain and skill and fight one buly one with enemies
Both it is not abuse, just part of the gameplay
nice mine i used DW dagger + half krieg set
everything is possible in arpg games u can ply how ever u want and do what ever u want u just need to
be motivated
I havenāt tried it but seems lacking to quite a lots of damage types: Physical, Fire, Lightning and even Acid. Still would be better than Chaos, Cold or vitality. Bleeding, is that really a thing?
I would likely put on top Cyclone. Inherent CDR from Cyclone, physical resistance and support from different gear. Definitely itās worthy.

In crucible you have banners & buffs to help you, and enemies are weaker, their HP is far lower. You can quickly burst Anasteria in 169 wave before other bosses join in (if your DPS is high). In SR itās near-impossible to deal with her before others join (unless you pull bosses 1 by 1).
And?)))
Why fight one by one is abuse?
So I think these are the strongest:
archon cyclone - shielbreaker cyclone - warlord warborn
but which one is better
Iām biased in my argumentation, but not really in terms of conclusion. Physical EoR Warborn Warlord, either @Nery or @sir_spanksalot I prefer the latterās variant.
It is supreme in terms of quality of life, damage and tankyness. Other variants might outshine in one of these regards. But having to stop to cast stuff every 15-20 seconds like with Shieldbreaker or Archon (throw all the damn Fire things on the ground, then start to spin, summon all the Totems and Wind Devils then start to spin⦠etc.) simply goes against what I think EoR playstyle should be, subjectively speaking. Sure, I am making Fire and Lightning variants as we speak just because I want to collect them all, Acid Dunefiend included, but I do not think anything will come close to the beast that is Physical Warlord EoR.
It is so simple and smooth I think it will diminish the pleasure I have in completing SR or Crucible with anything else. I already managed to get myself killed on other builds in SR66 because of how used I was with how EoR works and clears on the Physical variant. I never ONCE had to worry about mutators or Boss combos, I just went in and did the thing.
Bleeding, is that really a thing?
To answer that: No.
Short explanation:
You want to have as many DoT sources as possible to stack up. That isn“t possible when you are spinning.

I agree that the gameplay should be a factor also. Warlord is definitely easiest to pilot, since you have very few active skills. I would also consider builds with one or two active skills other than EoR but more than that is really painful. To do damage with EoR you need to constantly spin and not be interrupted. So your CC resistances and low number of active skills makes for great EoR build!
Cyclone archon and then shieldbreaker goes toe to toe with Warborn warlord. Cyclone is stronger offensively and it doesnāt depend on EoR as the sole source of dmg/sustain. Warborn is most QoL.
Fire shieldbreaker/paladin is good. The one in Infernal Knight is interesting.
Not sure about pierce.
The rest is crap. Dunefiend needs greens. Chaos is lacking on all fronts. Vit/cold/aether/bleed is meme-tier. Acid retal is also a gimmick.
Pierce EoR is definitely the strongest of the meme-tier EoR specs by leaps and bounds.
Cold EoR is on par with chaos EoR.
The worst has to be aether/bleed.

Itās a good thing you didnāt try WB WL back in 1.1.1.2 then. It straight up killed EoR for me.
In fact, while I objectively know that warborn is still a strong set (which I still think has been nerfed a tad too harshly), playing it now in 1.1.4.2 feels extremely lackluster.
Despite better itemization, and a far more offensive devotion set up, damage output on 1.1.4.2ās WB WL has been culled by 50%
In other wordsā¦
1.1.1.2ās naked clear: 7:20
1.1.4.2ās naked clear: 10:30ish
@sir_spanksalot but⦠but Cyclone needs those shite Wind Devils I do not think that a spin-to-win arhcetype should be bogged down.
So if Warborn is lackluster, and we ignore quality of life for a moment, what IS the top EOr build as of the moment?

Well, dunefiend Dervish also has very few active skills. None important aside from EoR, actually.
Dunefiend needs greens.
And whatās the problem using greens? Why greens dont qualify?
@Ericberic: First off, a 10:30 naked clear is by no means bad. Warborn, as far as Iām concerned, is still a top-tier end game set.
It might not be as fast as its flashier lightning counterpart, but it sure is a lot sturdier.
It just feels lackluster compared to what it was, because it was straight up B.R.O.K.E.N, and because I had spent so much time testing it.
A video demonstrating its OPness (I also wasnāt using oleron devo in this set-up, I was using obelisk instead):
I actually got a lot of flak because I initially refused to post my WB WL guide, and was pushing for nerfs.
But because of the over-the-top performance of cyclone and warborn, EoR got global nerfs on top of set specific nerfs.
While Iāll always respect Zās decisions, I do think he went overboard with the changes he made to conduitās ascension mod.
EDIT: Back in 1.1.1.2, the highest DPS value Grim internals ever recorded on the WB WL was 1.4 mil in naked crucible.
And whatās the problem using greens? Why greens dont qualify?
Thereās no problem with using greens, but providing more universal alternatives would be nice, if not the build will not be as accessible as it could be.
And whatās the problem using greens? Why greens dont qualify?
I cannot respect nerfing the skill, EoR itself.
I think the balance team went a bit overboard. If you nerf the skill abd not the set it now impavts all variants. And some were barely viable to begin with! Who played Aether EoR? Like really? It barely has any itemization. It is clearly worse than all other variants. A close second is Chaos EoR which does not benefit from proper itemization either.
Why nerf the skill and not the sets? I for one do not respect all design choices.
