Bestiary w/ Visual Concept

There has been a lot of talk over the years of having an in-game bestiary. Many people want it, and Crate has even talked about the challenges of adding one. Please reconsider adding one. :slight_smile:

It would be amazing to have a Bestiary, and with the new/final expansion coming out, it’s probably the last time to implement such a feature.

Here is a concept I made to see how it could be: Top left buttons toggle between Faction list and Bestiary list.

Having some mechanics like seeing the stats of the last monster of this type you killed, having more info as the kill count increases, and being able to rotate the models would indeed be ridiculously cool.

Maybe an icon for monsters which drop MIs? Flares for heroes and bosses?

I was wondering about that. How stats would be displayed with monsters having varying levels. That could work to show the stats of the last one killed, or perhaps showing the stats of the strongest one you killed. That would give you something to work for at the end game; finding and killing the strongest monsters.

That’s an interesting idea. Almost like you are “studying” the monster. I like that!

Maybe also show where you killed that monster. If you ever need to hunt it again, you can see where it was encountered.

There is so much potential and utility of an in-game bestiary! :thinking:

I ask again Crate, please reconsider adding one. I understand it is probably a lot of work, and you are all very busy working on the expansion, but maybe there is a viable, easier solution somewhere.
