You know you’re not banned right
I wouldn’t think asking such a question about an expansion that has been publicly discussed for, that I remember, at least 3 years
yeah time spent is the only thing that matters
i know ![]()
Automator is just sad becuz Berserker has no pets ![]()
I would wager they put more…
Hmm…let’s see…
Inquisitor:
- Channeled Cone
- Projectile Burst WPS
- Debuff Radius (Storm Box)
- Lightning Tether
- Passive on Crit (Deadly Aim)
Necromancer:
- Channeled Drain
- Channeled Drain multitarget modifier
- Targeted Spawn Pet
- Tendril Spawn pet (Reap Spirit)
- Reflect Link (Mark of Torment)
Oathkeeper:
- Projectile Chain (Aegis of Menhir)
- Spin to Win
- Cone WPS
- Chargethrough (Vire’s Might)
Versus…
Berserker:
- Shapeshifting (once deemed literally impossible in the TQ engine)
- Onslaught mechanic
- Chance of not spending Onslaught Stacks
- Chance of refresh cooldown with another ability
- Chance of extend duration with another ability
- Winds of Asterkarn
- Secondary Projectile Rain that scales with radius of the base skill (Hailstorm)
- Secondary effects activating without hitting a target (Fault Line)
- War Cries castable during channeled abilities (Rallying Cry)
- Heal/% Heal per second
- % Max Speed bonuses
Almost like Berserker took as much development as the last 3 masteries combined.

Time spent is a meaningless statistic. One person can spend hours/days/weeks on something that another person can figure out in 5 minutes. Happened all the time at work in my career.
so basically, no pet support = no fun
And pet builds are KNOWN for their interactive and engaging gameplay
Lines of code is new metric. And another meaningless statistic.
And pet builds are KNOWN for their interactive and engaging gameplay
To be the devil’s advocate, adding some abilities to rallying cry that mean a lot to pet builds while having little impact on non-pet builds is the kind of things that allow pet builds to get out of the classic 3 masteries for it. Not sure what stat can be added to it besides simply adding “All pets” bonus section, but knowing that a skill also work on your pets is the kind of thing you consider when making a build. I know that Rallying cry and Amatok’s pact both affect pets, which is great, but I certainly wouldn’t mind some type of buff that benefit pets without throwing ballance out the window. ![]()
Rallying cry sounds like it should cancel mind control at least, that would be very on-theme
Bonechilling cry does 4 already. Adding 2 elemental would make it the second best curse in the game… On a mastery not known for curses.
Who cares? Are paladins known for their curses? Especially for bleeding ones?
There are barely any builds that use 3 damage types at the same time. If theorycrafting community is to be believed, nobody uses more than 1. Doesn’t matter if resist shreds are simultaneous or not. What matters is the choice to use them.
One thing I find annoying of Berserker is the cold shred on Bonechilling cry. I still think it should have been universal elemental shred, like how Oathkeeper does it. Class feels somewhat pigeoned into cold damage on the caster side. Maybe with transmute.
The weird thing is that three masteries have only cold RR so cold is by far the most supported elemental damage type…
We already have CoF with its 8 resist shreds.
I want Curse of Everything! Add aether and pierce RR! ![]()
If we could add one more RR to something, let it be bleeding on Blade trap
No. There should be physical RR on Wind Devils and on Thermite mines. Both masteries are partly physical and deserve this RR.
Berserker is pretty dialed in I feel.
It just feels squishy to me. I would add damage absorption to Form of the Beast like it had in testing. The same value as % TDM on it and the same scaling.
so basically, no pet support = no fun
No Wolf WPS. Bad mastery! Dead game!

now you wait for the pet players to rage on pets not being able to proc WPS with their basic attacks ![]()

I do like pets.

Absolutely agreed on wind devil, it even deals physical damage.
Thermite mines are not fun to use. I would rather have physical and piercing on Flashbang instead ![]()

Personally, I think Battle surge should have a shorter cooldown that can get near zero with itemization, if you really lean-in on it. It would be more universal than just for the wereforms.
Who cares? Are paladins known for their curses? Especially for bleeding ones?
That is besides my point.
The occultist gets more than everyone else because they are known for their curses.
Paladins or oathkeepers are not known specifically for curses… that’s why they only get RR to 3 or 5 things at once… JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE
My Paladin is know for his usage of guns
on Flashbang instead
Nah, hate that skill. Mines are far better.
