A few skills were nerfed but weapon skill components are definite buffs.
I’m digging the new quests, named areas, and textures. I have to say, out of all the ARPG’s I’ve played, Grim Dawn sure has the most exciting and immersive Act 1. Can’t wait for Act 2. 
You can see what build you are using in the lower right corner of the screen on the page where you chose to start a new game or exit.
Thanks Guy’s, just played through the whole map again, much clearer detail, didn’t realise how fuzzy the original detailing was. The other changes make the game play much more challenging.

didn’t have time to test it yet except for a short run in Warden’s Lab but that seems a great improvement over all Act 1. Nice work again, will try a new char soon to see it by myself !

Probably after Act 2 is released (not completely sure on this). They have recently hired someone who worked on the multiplayer system for Titan Quest so hopefully it will get sorted out soon.

Steam features states: “Connect with old friends or make new allies in glorious multiplayer. Multiplayer encounters will put your teamwork to the ultimate challenge. (multiplayer is not yet available but is expected in early 2014)”

The game has improved a lot. I am impressed by the effort put into reworking the already existing areas to make them feel great.
I didn’t encounter any major technical issues other than the wandering monsters issue.
Some parts of the wardens cellar and (maybe) beyond started to show some possible slowdown or stuttering. In past builds, sometimes it become a significant issue, but this time it was minimal. Perhaps, there is something in that level that is causing an issue.
In hidden laboratory, I noticed the game starts playing very quickly. I am pressing mouse and keyboard buttons as fast as skills recharge. As I mentioned before, there is an old TQIT issue that can cause skills to fire in the wrong direction or at the wrong enemy when pressing keys quickly. If the intention is to have the game play fast further on, then the issue will start to become a problem.
I was able to avoid more of the wardens traps this time around. It seems the radius is a bit bigger than what I see. He is a bit slow but his skills do considerable damage, in quick succession. At least I didn’t feel the need to runaround as fast and as far as I could. I had on some good armor and 10% resist but damage still racked up a bit fast or anything other than 1 attack and move.
One minor thing that could be improved is the unearthing effect for zombies.
I think I encountered fewer miniboss monsters this time around.

Rhis, does this mean that there has been a hotfix and players can now add and remove components into and from their gear without existing gear attribute values changing?

So EVERY SINGLE ONE of my components have drastically reduced completion bonuses since last patch. Is that what was meant to happen? I think I’m averaging about a 50% reduction across the board on ~10 items. Not one was increased, not one was reduced by less than about 30%. As I’m reading the patch notes, the randomization could have gone both ways right?
E: Just checked:
Chest, was +12% health, is +4% health.
Gloves: was +8% cunning, is +4% cunning
Belt: was +41 health, is +15 health.
Sword: was +9% physical, is +5% physical
Amulet: was +12% Aether resistance, is +4% Aether resistance
etc, etc, etc.
What did the 5 MB patch do today? I just downloaded an update from Steam and I did not see anything updated on the first page unlike last night’s hot fix with Rhis’ post.
