[BUG REPORTS] Grimarillion v0.2.4+

Starting a new thread for Grimarillion bugs. 024 is going up soon and I am pretty sure all the existing reports are handled now.

Changelog v024:

Updated Cornucopia to v0.3.2J (Sharpshooter’s Bolt Rifle and Aether Ray fixes)
Updated GrimQuest to v1.4.1 (Crystal Ring, TQPrefixes, and IcreFire Pike)
Modified granted skills to enable spears and Staffs
Completely redid autopickup. But you will not notice the differences playing. Eventually, this will work as intended, for now, pick up all components or relog often to avoid the bug/exploit.
Changed Balros and Hagra to scale to player level.
FAILED - Fixed for translations the changes to WakingToMisery quest.
Modified the Nicholas Balthazar, Halion/pet rat, Boris, Pusquil, Grundlepith, Milton, Amalgamation and Ravna encounters. (this last one really needs to be tested as it is likely borked (again)).

On the TODO list:

I had to revert the attempted fix for translators as the main quest got bugged…I cannot find the record for Jarvis I guess or figure out how he links into Waking To Misery…
Fix the Staff wielding enemies freeze bug
Figure out if there is some rouge Scrap record out there that is not hooked into Autopickup properly
Get Glory changes
Take bridge corpse out of debug mode (emeralds)

Changelog v0.2.5:

Removed the attempt at Ravna onDeathSpawns.
Fixed a bug with the Amalgamation encounter.
Toned down the spawning of Aetherial wisps on death of certain enemies.

Changelog v027:

Should have all of Grim Quest 1.4.2 now.
Reduced various spawns in Grimmest including quest ghosts in Arkovian Undercity and the Aetherial Obelisks (I think I got all the Obelisks, not sure on that though).
Found lootable scrap/dynamite that was missing Autopickup.
Removed emeralds from corpse.

seeing a lot of items with a prefix or suffix(mostly staff/spears and new items you have created) with tag not found and components have red names with a few exception. Also when fighting the queen in fetid fields sometimes she bugs out after the initial kill and will not spawn after defeating her when she is connected to the egg sack or whatever that is.

If you have items with text issues, post them because we cannot read your mind to understand which items you are talking about. :stuck_out_tongue:

I am playing v 2.7 and have ran across some of the items with missing tags and components that have red names

Hmm…now there’s a utility idea to program…

Sure would make it easy to identify bugs sometimes…

are ALL components red? And are all spears with tag errors?

I’m quite sure I’ve seen qiangs and menefitian or w/e it’s called.

The rings I remember testing a while back, but it’s entirely possible something could have gone wrong since then.

all except like the bindings of bysmiel and the rarer 1’s…every other 1 is in red. and I believe the “Bacon” even show’s as tag not found

I’m still in 2.6 and the tags are fine. Hopefully with that in mind, Jiaco can track the error (if he’s keeping a good changelog ;)).

I have killed queen Ravna like 20 times since yday , 2nd phase doesn’t happen at all , she detaches from her birth sack or w/e that is and then she disapears. Can’t progress the quest line , it’s quite annoying.

I was on 2.5 when it first happened , updated to 2.7 later , same thing happens.

Yes, this is the primary bug that is forcing me to do this again tonight. Still at work atm. But it is coming.

May I ask, are your components RED?

Nope , all components are just fine till now.

Wait…you say 2.7 but I do not see v027 after Active Quests in your screenshots. Are you sure your download is ok? ~133MB in 7z format? with a grimarillion/resources/text(_en).arc file in it?
