Hey, this is my suggestion to add butter and products processed from it to Farthest Frontier. I hope I posted this message to the correct category; I’ve never used a forum before. This is also my first post here
Butter should be added as a product that would be processed from milk in a specific building. It would also be a luxury good with a moderate market price.
To expand further the addition, I would also wish that BAKERY could be upgraded to produce pastries/cakes from butter and other ingredients. Baked goods would also be a luxury good.
I think butter does not justify a new building, instead, I would suggest to have the Cheesemaker building to have an upgrade to Dairy Workshop / factory, so now in addition to make cheese, they will also make butter as a luxury item, the upgrade would bring more villagers capacity working in it, and the option to define the production ratios of both Cheese and Butter.
When Butter will definitely will work as a luxury item, it will not work as food source, it can work as ingredient to other stuff or to sell it as a independent product to our villagers.
They already announced an upgrade to the Bakery, let see what they come with!
Given that the game already has Apiaries and Honey in it, and honey was the common ‘sweetener’ before cane sugar was imported into Europe, the upgraded Bakery could easily use the resource to produce Cakes, Pies, and other ‘luxury’ products.
The game is going to need some new luxuries in any case, for the Tier 5 residences to come.
