I’m not certain what we’ll do with the legendary edition once Alpha comes out <snip>

I’m interested in the game and have checked the site for updates periodically these past months. I registered on the forums now to ask for two things:

1. That an email go out (forum registration email address) in advance of an alpha start, and (related)
2. That advance notice via email go out for any planned changes to available purchase options… including for that Legendary Platinum Collector’s Edition Gold Director’s Cut Uncut Edition Version I see on the store page.

I hesitate to spend on something that doesn’t yet exist. I also don’t want to miss an opportunity. So, I hope you understand why I’m asking for these advance notifications.

Ok I broke down and did it, picked up a legendary.

I must be nuts for doing it, but I love TQ Immortal Throne and I think you folks at Crate deserve to be vindicated for your hard work at Iron Lore on TQ so enjoy and good luck, I’m looking forward to seeing Grim Dawn become a success.

Well, after much ordeal we are finally back in business. phew!

The world can once again purchase Grim Dawn game-keys to support this lofty, although possibly insane, endeavor. We apologize to those enthusiastic fans waiting to contribute who were forced to endure the long wait.

Those of you who may have visited our old contribution page will notice that it has been dramatically altered. We’ve had to get a little more formal to comply with various requirements mandated by our bank and by Visa / MasterCard. Not our choice but such is the world of business.

You know… I read this and my first thought was “Oh shit, a new option better than Legendary?! Hell yeah!” and I got excited about making another donation. And then I got to the store page and saw the regular 3 options.

Thanks for the response. I’m hoping the #2 is put under consideration - my disposable income these days has been ahh… disposed. So I need to put off discretionary purchases as much as possible. If I buy the game now, it means my kids don’t eat this week. I’m perfectly willing to make that sacrifice, but they get all whiney about being hungry, so if I can put that purchase off until a week or two before any changes to the Legendary AwesomeSauce Director’s Cut Version availability takes place, it works best for me. Thanks.

We should be able to send out an email in advance if we decide to discontinue or change any of the options. There are no plans in place to ninja-change anything at the moment.

I actually sent email to medierra and got a very quick response…

simply I just wanted to know if I could donate again once I already have…

beings I did and I wanted to do it again beings my wife would play but didnt want to create another account she wouldnt use and I would forget about…

sure I like the ability to try it before others can as I have never done that before…but the other half of the coin is…I like where this is going and I dont mind helping and to me there are too many FPS games like BF2, COD and R6V2 and such and I am just not a FPS gamer like most…

I like this style of game…so the choice to help was easy for me…

What you can do is read all of Medierra’s posts here on this board and try to glean a date from his vague answers.

And when I asked what had happened to push it back(Medierra had previously said the game was initially expected to come out early 2011 but that was 6+ months ago) I’ve been ignored.
