Can not find the folder "C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games"

Hi!

I installed Grim Dawn and noticed that I couldn’t change the language setting. I tried some common solutions (disable one drive).
And I also can not find any “My Games” folder of the below path
"C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents"

I have win11 professional.

Do you have cloud saving turned on?

Hi,
The 1st time install it from Steam, I was set to cloud saving, but I uninstalled and reinstalled and set it to local saving in Steam (unselect cloud saving), still can’t see the folder, and also I’m not able to select to other languages (I can see the language package was download successful in the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grim Dawn\localization).

If you have any saves on the cloud you may need to do this rather than just changing settings.

check if Onedrive hijacked your documents folder, means the documents/mygames and grim dawn folder might actually be in your Onedrive path instead
if that’s the case, unlink it and get it back to the designed path

Also was it here in the Options menu you tried to change the language?
