Can you make two Nemesis fight each other?

I managed to summon Kubacabra in the Withering Fields, approaching Homestead, and decided to leave him behind, get to activate the Homestead rift and come back to fight him then. However, just when I got to Homestead, I also managed to kill enough Aetherials to make Valdaran appear!
I tried to kite him south so he and Kuba would meet, but sadly, he turned back just that and went back to his spawning point. So, anyone managed to perhaps get two Nemesis to fight, before?

I feel like with their DPS and regen (particularly Kuba), the fights would just drag on for ages and no victor would emerge. I’d be super happy to be proven otherwise!

There are some fights between nemesises on YouTube so you can find it with minimal effort.

I thought since there was no topic here on the forums it’d be of interest to others to ask here first.

How recent are these videos? Outside the Fabius vs Moosilauke fight from early in the game’s history, I have not seen two Nemesis monsters fight each other. It’s a good question to ask, as it is possible to get two wildly different Nemeses in close proximity thanks to the new spawning system.

I personally want to see if Benn’Jahr’s buffs are enough so that it can stand a chance against Grava’Thul!

From personal experience Nemeses from opposing factions become buddies when they are going after me.

Oh quite old, like maybe 2-3 years old, maybe even from pre-covid ancient era :man_mage:

But… those two would never fight each other. They are both Ch’thonians. Same faction.

Tried with minimal effort, couldn’t find the videos with prompts such as “Grim Dawn nemesis vs nemesis” or “Grim Dawn kubacabra vs moosilauke”, mostly see videos of players against them.

Trying nemesis vs. nemesis brings up just players vs. nemesis. So yeah, Gregory should maybe link those videos as I also cannot find anything.

Unrelated, but yesterday I summoned Moosilauke on the area below Tyrant’s hold and kited him through the rebuilt bridge over to Twin Falls - since the Rover there is a talking NPC, she and her buddies seems to be immune to damage (they were at full HP after the fight), and they helped me to kill it. So technically, I think it would be possible to get a Nemesis killed by NPCs, though I doubt they would do enough damage to offset the regeneration.

Yeah, you are right, I also cannot find it. I had bookmarked it but there are no more on youtube. I only found very outdated stuff:

Maybe i will try to make new video trying to lurke nems on each other. We’ll see…

I’ll try too. Frankly on the Mourndale you have a good chance to summon both the Ch’thonian and Aetherial Vanguard nemesis.
This is a pretty weird video, pity it cuts out to black after 8 minutes. I wonder how they managed to get up there on the bridge to watch the fight. Maybe used console commands to summon them?

You can get Nemeses to fight other entities of opposing factions easily enough. Edge of Reality is great for this due to the faction variety. (Namely the AoM version)

I’ve already had some enemies spawn Benn’jahr on them offscreen from me, so in theory spawning two opposing Nems is possible and they should fight each other, yes.

I really like how they’re both on the bridge there.

- Absolutely not.
- Yep"

I succeeded in summoning Alek and Grava, they sunder each others

Imo, the hardest part to make the nemesis spawn is to bait them to face each others, I bait Alek to Grava place, but Grava start to chase me around while Alek agro has turned to Grava. Can’t summon big Benn because no more chtonian monster around

Wow that is epic, thanks for the video!
I had guessed Alexander would win since unlike us players, Grava does not have the foresight to dash out from under the giant aether meteor… Even so it was a close match.
Yeah, I think all the on-hit triggered effects if you get hit by a stray blast would damage the Nemesis and trigger them to prioritize you.
Oh, so you can summon Benn’Jahr too, after Grava’Thul is summoned? I never had that happen yet… would probably be hard to pull off at the same location.

can confirm
i got Valde and Kuba, and running in circles around Valde any few random lightning balls or bleed pools just wasn’t enough to grab aggro from whatever i had accidentally done or i dono tiny small passive retal kuba struck on me?

another things that surprise me before the recording is, casting word of renewal will make Grava to switch target to me, while Aleksander does not

I just fight Kuba and then Kaisan inside the Temple of the Three, shame they didn’t spawn at the same time. Looks like the insect inside the temple can trigger Kuba to spawn and that place is Kaisan second home

Speaking of Nemeses summoned at weird places, check this one out… It’s a weird thing since in this session, I never even fought undead - just Kymon’s Zealots, Beasts and Aetherials - yet as soon as I started the fight for Malkaddar’s summon, who else would appear uninvited as Moosilauke! Luckily due to the closed gate, he stayed outside the chamber during the waves of undead arriving. But afterwards, I found out to my dismay that the followers of Urboruuk are apparently completely fine with uncontrolled Arkovian undead running rampant inside their sanctum. They were of no help…

I did not plan this, either, but Moosilauke collapsed in a heap right in the middle of the ritual chamber, too, at the end.

You are welcome, Maldakkar. Could have used your help with the giant ice-bone amalgamation but I guess you were still adjusting to being (un)alive again. :stuck_out_tongue:
