Hello, It would be so much better if, when dead trees are cut down, a live one grows back in their spot. I instinctively want to cut down dead trees because in the real world that’s how you get regrowth, and thicken up the forest. The tree type should be whatever is in the area i.e. pine/spruce on mountains, oak, maple, birch in forests, maybe button bushes in swamps.
I don’t know why, but this really bugs me, and I wonder what the point is of having dead trees if their not going to add some kind of dynamic to forestry. I don’t farm decorative trees because I consider it an exploit, not gameplay, so anything that can help me get more wood is good!
