just a quick look at grimtools, same gear, just updated lvl and few things in devotion
i dont have time for now, to level this char to lvl100 (aint even 86), and i sure dont have the needed gear, and didnt checked on new items to see if there would be any new BIS, feel free guys to add your suggestions and tests here, i will add to 1st post our updates on this build
How does this build perform in HC?

i aint a HC player, but you would max mirror, maiven, and maybe grab more defensive devotions like chariots
I am not an HC player but the build can work in HC with minor tweaks. Like getting Maiven’s and adding more DA

That’s not optimized since it was made in minutes, but it should give you a general idea of what you should be aiming for
CDR, Mirror and other things should help you a lot. At the end of the day death in HC depends on a player’s luck as even highly defensive characters can die in it
not talking about build itself, but loosing mirror and maiven in HC is mistake, reaper / spellbreaker are weak chars, both ending on low armor, i wouldnt do that imo
lol 23k life and full heal with every atack, who need armor with that pool? Drop mark on sturdiest enemy and you are pretty much unvulnerable .

Eh, sry, i didnt wanted to offend or smthing. Just saying that sphere is lifepool multiplier with drawback of character dmg reduction:roll: And mark of torment is not that different from mirror.
sure i dont like the dmg reduction neither on it, but again, playing in HC, i think its great skills to stay alive, mark of torment is meh imo, the way it works dont suit me at all, for leveling spellbreaker is safer imo for those two skills i mentionned, reaching end game idk, but sure maiven wont hurt that much when SS reach 1000K.
btw about gearing i now play with ravager helm since the purple version drops in elite its possible to get it, even if sure not that easy; but not recommended for HC char …

A soulrend build such as this is the best among any 2h Cold Breakers.
If you have the new soulrend, make sure to check the stats (specifically the CDR part on it)
For lack of gear, you can use Fateweaver’s Raiment as an alternative till you get MIs to support the build
Because in my book 2k HP offer better survivability that 500 armor. Especialy if the build oneshot/permafreeze trash and dont take small hits.
But we both know our defenses are meant for the bosses and not for the trash. As you say, they are trash :rolleyes:

lvl 94 absolutely worth it, its the mythical version actually.
i didnt got much problem through the new act; my set up was already full offensive, so with new mobs i just putted few points in maiven, thats all.
build is same as before, still one of the fastest (i bet same goes for dw version), just like before need to be carefull with it; its “on the edge” gameplay; but you aint forced to use such offensive set up and can totaly grab some defensive procs in devotions
[off]With 1.2 k armor on head we barely gain 300 absorbtion. If you consider that most things hit for 6-9k dmg per hit you will understand my scepticism about absorbtion on these kind of build. With close to zero phyz resist and almost no armor gain scale hide is as good as toilet papper>_> With lagre healthpool and ADCTH from 1mill strikes we dont need these 300-400 points of reduction, in fact it is better to stack lifepool to absorb dmg betwen our life-replenishing nukes. My bad, i meant common dual wield. With crescent moon and loxmere’s frostblade i was doing ok in the new acts at Lvl85, but now that 'ìve hit Lvl100 it just doesn’t work anymore, enemies have too much health comparing it with the dps i do, and they hit too hard to face-tank them for more than very short time.
I’ll try out your version and hope i’ll work better.
