Anyways, i think i know what the problem is and we can for sure try to solve it to bring it to a good level that everyone CAN enjoy.
At first, as said, i really WANT ultimate to be VERY HARD and i do not want to streamline through it like mostly in vanilla, this has to be clear. If you farm gear in elite for going onto ultimate you REALLY should need Ashdim’s Minion, which can be CRAFTED at Ashdim himself in the Conclave, this minion is the first SHATTERING Blacksmith, who is able to recraft ALL vanilla items with currency ONLY gained from the Shattered Realm (Epic Shattering Essences in Elite difficulty to upgrade all Epic gearitems; amulets + rings with epic + legendary rarity can be SHATTERED right from the start, even in normal difficulty). This “item mechanic” should empower you GREATLY to be able to go to ultimate with a “good working build”.
Anyways, if ONLY the HP is the problem, here are the 2 mainsettings i have changed for reaching that high HP →
· characterLife= NONE → 100; → GLOBAL!
· characterLifeModifier= 20/135/250/360/320/600/800/1000/580/900/1200/1500 → 80/540/1000/1440/1280/2400/3200/4000/2320/3600/4800/6000 → GLOBAL! → +300%
→ means that i gave ALL enemies globally a flat HPvalue of 100 and increased ALL their HP again by 300% xD what do you think this Eldritch Spore will have now? :smiley: Should be near 8kk then :smiley: Absolutly understandable that this seems to be very high, and maybe it IS partially, but felt not to be a big issue MOSTLY in all of my testruns, except maybe some heroes on max level in ultimate in the SR which clearly were a “bit” too hard to kill, but doable nonetheless :slight_smile: What do you think there can be done to make this better? Please try first with some newly SHATTERED epic items + maybe a shattered necklace + rings to give you more impressions on this :slight_smile: Thanks again for helping me testing in this amount of energy and time!

noidea about 100 means howmany, when update and test . but for me HP is the only problem.

I think that is simply a flat amount of 100 healthpoints that is given to every enemy accross all difficulties, that surely scales up via the modifiers and enemybased values aswell, which COULD perhaps lead to some abnormal high HP encounters :smiley:
Yes, these above values have been granted via “balancingadjustment_mp+difficulty_enemies01.dbr” to all enemies, also to the Shattered Realm enemies. That could be toned down ONTOP via extra difficulty scaling databases for the Shattered Realm only.
ATM i do not feel in the need to change it to be honest as i really like this “hard” difficulty at ultimate :slight_smile: But we will see, nothing is set in stone and i want to find a good setup that everyone can enjoy not only myself :smiley:

Finally arrived with the D3 classes on Elite difficulty, quick checkin on that with my Freezing Ray Wizard, having much fun! an update is also in the works for the start of next week i guess, takes a bit longer as i had not that mega much time to mod the last few days, also wanted to play a bit more, was really the best choice :slight_smile: small adjustments to global enemy hp will be implemented and another Portable NPC arrived to exchange all those Minor items along the way to an upgraded normal version of it, quick sneakpeak on that at the end of the video :slight_smile: SO so much to do and in my mind, but as usual, time is not infinite :slight_smile: Checkin for this video, also to see that the transition to elite is really not that hard if you take EVERYTHING into consideration that the mod has to offer already.

Someone had fun with this modcompilation, he even tuned GDM to maximum and ripped through act 1 with the Shattered Buff on HC mode :smiley: great actionstuff to see, tbh have not tested it with max GMD spawns, very nice to see this really works haha :DD Unfortunatly i do not understand a single word that has been spoken on that stream :frowning: If someone wants to translate it to me that would be even more amazing :slight_smile:

with Shattered buff ,veteran summoner like me 2 hours 80 ~ 90 levels. but also easy to die, because some monsters skill damage to high. like purple laser.

Yes the Arcane Lasers are intended to kill players IF not avoided correctly, kind of the D3 lasers spitted out by those Arcane mobs, clearly deadly but also very good avoidable and visible i think :slight_smile: the main damage is at the “center” of the “laseroutputbubble” and is lesser on the beamlenght itself if i saw this correctly. not had any issues with it so far, even was thinking of increase the spawn again but ok i will leave it for now :slight_smile:
the next update will include a small global balancefix for decreasing overall HP a bit and increasing the enemies cc resist a bit to compensate it, feels already alot better i think. Also the new Exchange-NPC for ALL Minor gearitems is ready to get you some better gear for midlevel especially, that will also help to compensate the increased difficutly even better i guess.
The update is atm tested, also i have further optimized the global masterloottables a bit i think :slight_smile: Some more small additions have been made that you can be curious about! Tomorrow, if the time allows it, it will be ready for all you hunters out there :))

Sure, here you can see where you can get that NPC, as most new Portable NPCs are aquired, at Ashdim in the Conclave :slight_smile: With that Shattering Blacksmith you are able to recraft MOST Vanilla gearitems, everthing noted in the item description, as you can see for example with the amulet for petclass, that can even be upgraded while playing on normal/veteran as amulets and rings just need Shattering Essences that you get as reward for doing the Shattered Realm on normal/veteran difficulty.

Right above the Delicious Meal that is highlighted in the list, there it is :smiley: You need a Shattering Essence to craft it once and have it forever. No need for Ultimate but you need to run at least one shard in the Shattering Realm. In Normal/Veteran you will get Shattering Essences when finishing the Realm, on Elite you will get Epic Shattering Essences and on Ultimate you get Legendary Shattering Essences. All upgradable epic and legendary gearitems at the Shattering Blacksmith need according Essences, EXCEPT for amulets and rings, those ONLY need Shattering Essences.

An update is about to go out in a few moments.

→ 0.4c:

  • FIX: fixed a few leftover wrong highlighted skills;
  • FIX: D3 offhand “Mirrorball” → simply forgot to set the TEX to 64x64 size, was still 32x32 as it is an amulet in the original mod by Grimer;
  • FIX: added all needed “flavor NPCs” → they simply missed their gear partially because of the newly created global mastertables, which broke immersion a bit :smiley:
  • CHANGE: tags cleaned up, mostly for crafting stuff, changed a few icons aswell to make it fit better into the game;
  • NEW: added a Portable NPC08 (summons Cha Lee the Portable Exchange Blacksmith I) to Ashdim in the Conclave of the Three → Read to summon Cha Lee who will grant you the ability to exchange ALL Minor gearitems into their normal equivalent with an additional boost from her knowledge in ancient craftingskills → Infinite usage allowed, 406 MINOR gearitems can be exchanged, Cha Lee will grant you a bonus to exchanged gearitems → the same bonustable as for all new Portable NPC blacksmiths;
  • CHANGE: Aether Cluster → changed tag for better overview at craftingpanel, changed stats → increased duration from 3 to 4 seconds, cooldown increased from 60 to 75 seconds, characterRunSpeedMod increased to 150%, added characterLightRadius of -500, item is SOULBOUND and UNTRADABLE now and has levelreq 5;
  • CHANGE: Improved Aether Cluster → changed tag for better overview at craftingpanel, changed stats → cooldown increased from 120 to 150 seconds, characterRunSpeedMod increased to 200%, added characterLightRadius of -500, item is SOULBOUND and UNTRADABLE now and has levelreq 65, decreased buff cc resist stats a bit aswell;
  • CHANGE: pets have their defenses raised accross all difficulties with 80% damage absorption (increased from 50%);
  • CHANGE: Tonic of Mending + Elixir of Spirit → decreased cooldown from 20 seconds to 18 seconds;
  • CHANGE: Immortal Mercs T1 → uptime increased from 60 seconds to 120 seconds, cooldown increased to 150 seconds;
  • CHANGE: skillclass Nightblade → Veil of Shadows is not dispellable anymore;
  • CHANGE: skillclass Monk → Mantra of Conviction is not dispellable anymore;
  • CHANGE + NEW: all NOT DISPELLABLE classskills are now highlighted with a tag in their skill description;
  • CHANGE: Enemy Balance → decreased HP globally a bit, flat life goes down from 100 to 50 and modifier has been reduced by 100% to an increase of +200% to vanillastat; defensiveConfusion + defensiveFear + defensiveConvert + defensiveTrap + defensivePetrify + defensiveFreeze + defensiveStun= added +10% to all values; added defensiveKnockdown + defensiveSleep values for all difficulties according to the other defensive stats; characterOffensiveAbility and characterDefensiveAbility decreased a bit, characterRunSpeedModifier increased a bit;
  • CHANGE: Hero Archetypes → characterLifeModifier reduced by 40%;
  • CHANGE: global lootmastertables → adjusted weights of all TDYNs and the mastertables itself again for MAYBE better variation, especially on midgame… (-> Crazy Mike can now give loot from these mastertables DIRECTLY to test it…:smiley: → hard to tell even after spawning thousands of items xD)
  • CHANGE: Devotionshrines → DECREASED spawnMin/Max on all pools by 25% → was really a bit too crazy partially :smiley:
  • CHANGE: Monstertotems → adjusted config accordingly to devotionshrines, added ALL pools and INCREASED min/maxSpawns by 25%;
  • CHANGE + NEW: finally created the last EXTRAREWARDCHEST in the Shattered Realm for shard 201+ → you are able to loot geartorso items that have NEW affixes, these are 1:1 ALL components that simply became an affix by changing their template, also added +1 to 2 playerclasses (vanilla + D3) to all rolled prefixes, new tag for these UBER items is → Exalted XXX of Components; → these new affixes MIGHT find their way aswell to ONBs and X1 Bosses in one of the next updates;
  • CHANGE: Stylemerchant Xartoz → decreased prices for styleitems;

interesting :slight_smile: Spawns from shrines have been granted with a too high “levelVarianceEquation” then i guess, was wondering too, this should explain it, as i have created a pool and proxy for every shrine and adjusted this a while back :smiley: will be investigated for next update as i am also not satisfied how the Devotionshrine part is at this state. I think the global decrease in HP should be absolutly fine for now.

EDIT1: just checked, i can NOT do this simply, as it would outbalance the whole thing globally again, have to find another way, as said, the devotionshrine part needs a bit love :slight_smile: maybe just 1 boss per shrine even on ultimate will be enough, unsure about this right now, as i am not even at home, but will get there soon ;D

if only Ruined Shrine doesn’t matter,this is a one-off.
