it could be, I have auto-pick up of rare items ON. Guess it’s time to turn it OFF anyway, too much loot in ultimate.
BTW, on the topic of hero archetypes; so far, the most dangerous is frozen (huge dmg!) and regenerative(when it spawns with shrines, so alongside many other bosses. It’s annoying, but manageable. Feels like a decent balance right now; after all I have a very bad gear at 85, that I gambled around lvl 50.

thx for feedback :slight_smile: have you “exchanged” gear you want for “Combo Orbs”? there is a NPC that you can craft to aquire all items for Orbs, also the D3 items, also good to get an overview :slight_smile: Yes the combination of spawned Archetypes makes the difficulty overall i would say so too, each on their own mostly are not that hard, the combination can make em mad partially :smiley: progress here is going on, update on the D3 Mod has been finished, also “most” other talked about issues here have been “fixed” and overlooked, tomorrow continue on my affixrework will continue, hoping to push out an update at the weekend :slight_smile:

ye I know about gambling/exchange, not doing it since I’m still progressing story and can’t complain about dmg. Did a couple treasure guardians too, and killed Tyrael without much problem. Will do a more serious rework before SR farming.

coolio :slight_smile: just did a bit of playtesting after D3 updating finally complete and DELETING over 1k “fileNameHistoryEntry” values :smiley: i really do think this all solved a big issue, the one the game always wanted to call the delicious meal database etc, this has been solved automatically as it seems, also the game feels smoother while in heavy clustering fights, will not say this solves every issue that could lead to a crash, but at least it has some effect obviously :smiley: can’t wait to push out the update but will first need to “halfway” finish what i started with the affixes :wink:

found a bad thing → Grimmest script is broken at this point, found the error already and will aim for an update this evening to get rid of this issue :smiley: not finished with affixes, do not wonder, just need to push this out now, also alot of other fixes integrated and the great D3 mod also up to date, so it should make sense :slight_smile: One “issue” remaining, shown by LadyofPain, if we “hide all items” on the ground, the Currency items still will show up, this can not be changed this easy as it will not be able to be autolooted anymore and various small other issues will be created, so it will stay like it is at this point, also just noticed, this behaviour is shared with all questitems from the basegame, i.e. Dynamite or Scrap, these will show aswell on hidding all items, so it should not be a gamebreaker at all :slight_smile: will be writing patchnotes and load up what i have in a few hours then :slight_smile:

Yeah, I didn’t check all scripts it is possible some of the crashes come from these. I hope you found the issue of these crashes.

not really but yes there is so much in your lua scripts that i really do not understand which might introduce such events, pretty unsure about it, mainly i have a guess that it might have to do with the function to spawn the ONB’s but pretty unsure what i can do to make this spawn even cooler :slight_smile: anyways i was about to load up an update in a few moments, just need another testingrun :slight_smile:

  • ADDITION: further optimizations of GrimCam.ini values → pitch decreased, zoom out increased, fog disabled, far clip increased;
  • FIX: Grimmest → disabled the ability to start with all inventory bags unlocked, this is totally optional via the Merrit ONLY! there was also something buggy that broke the script by my own changes, reverted to a working state again :slight_smile:
  • NEW + FIX + INWORK: D3 Gambling affixes further optimized @PREFIX WEAPON 2H statincreases, furthermore 1h + 2h will be seperated into 1h ranged + 1h melee and 2h ranged + 2h melee with according stats and skillaugments;
  • ADDITION: CLASS-SKILLS.txt → added info to all D3 skills if MELEE or RANGED EXCLUSIVE etc.! → as preparation to seperate 1h + 2h into melee and ranged! → THIS HAS TO BE DONE FOR BASEGAME CLASSES ASWELL LATERON WHEN DOING THE VANILLA GAMBLING ADJUSTMENTS!
  • NEW + FIX: Heroarchetype “Corrupted” → added a new enemy that can spawn → Corrupted Shadowclone → can drop Shadow Dust at a lowered chance now aswell as a new source for this material; reduced the droprate of Aether Clusters from this Archetype;
  • FIX: ComboMod lorenote updated → if you already had it, it might have been vanished → IF you need it you can restore it via Crazy Mike in the item-section;
  • FIX: Shoulders → Sacrifice - Isaac’s Stash → added skillEnergyCostReduction reduced;
  • FIX: all “minor” gearitems → removed leftover skillmodifiers as this would be too strong for those lowlevel items;
  • FIX: removed various gearitems from the new global mastertables and Exchange Blacksmiths → Shattered Realm Ward, Shattererd Realm Mantle + Shattered Realm Ceremonial Mantle (also removed from Shattered Realm EXTRAREWARDCHEST!), Shattererd Realm Armor + Shattered Realm Ceremonial Armor (also removed from Shattered Realm EXTRAREWARDCHEST!), Shattererd Realm Mask + Shattered Realm Ceremonial Mask, Ravager’s Bite, Ravager’s Barb, Ravager’s Gaze and Ravager’s Dreadgaze → if there are more items that shall remain unique in terms of where they drop, simply tell me :slight_smile:
  • NEW: D3 Classes Mod by Grimer updated to newest version inclusive Update 1;
  • NEW: all new D3 items have been added to the according Portable NPCs and global mastertables, the new axe Cinder Switch has been added to the Shattered Affixes extrarewardmechanic;
  • NEW + FIX: D3 Legendary Gems → Shen’s Delight: reworked to be less OP but still very viable as an endgame Gem; furthermore adjusted MOST of the gems and skills to be better balanced for endgame, still really crazy powerfull no doubt ;D needs further observations and feebacks, will note everything again when completly fine with them, so the given informations in the pdf are a bit out of date;
  • FIX: Hellfire Amulet affixes → Witchdoctor → skill: Firewall → reduced added retaliation damage to 38%, reduced energycostreduction from 20 to 12;
  • FIX: Omega Skill Gems → updated missing basegame skillmodifiers; will show a SOULBOUND tag now;
  • FIX?: deleted ALL values fĂźr “fileNameHistoryEntry” → unsure about this to be honest but at least no issues introduced, so far,… :smiley:
  • MINOR “BUG”: ALL CURRENCY ITEMS → can be seen EVEN if all items hidden (also basegame items like Scrap and Dynamite can not be hidden), so this is not a biggi, also changing the classification will disable autolooting on most currency items, which is not my intention, so i will leave this for now like it is :slight_smile:

what has been solved is the call for the campfire/delicious meal dbr’s, which is good i think :slight_smile: but i doubt it will solve all crashes yes ;D

are there any affixes that are limited to MIs?

from all the new gambling affixes, they may appear on the according type, yes also for all MI’s via added tables to them, furthermore mi’s can have new modifiers from the D3 mod and myself, and most of them have added D3 skillaugments.

no, I mean are there affixes that are ONLY on MIs. I’d guess not.

ah yes if the according MI has an unique basegame affix, it still will have it.

Loaded new patch, installed grim.cam (havent had it before), got a crash on a first enemy encounter in deadman gulch(ultimate)

aaaaaaand another crash, when starting a fight in zone before Logghorean…and another crash. Hmm. Gonna try to filter it out.
EDIT: disabled grimcam, so far no crashes

Skill runes drop rate is super high; could easily be 1/4 of what is now

the reason the droprate is that high is simply that there are really alot ;D the amount can easily be toned down i guess, there are alot of doubled effects which seems pretty obsolete in the end. funny thing is i was thinking about those gems today and that i have to clean them out in a while, but atm i am having a big idea again that came to my mind to further optimize the new affixes, this will take a while before i can start that work :slight_smile:

also, to let you know, when there is someday a time for version 1.0, most values for amounts and good chances will be reduced and are a bit higher at this point to better test out the mod, everything is a wip so to say :smiley: furthermore have tested both spots 2 times without any issues, no crash here :frowning: which class did you play? there can be sooooo many things that can produce a crash i think, lets try to figure it out, again ;D about the Arcane archetype, you absolutly correct, its pretty weak, i am unsure why but this is no problem to check and rescale to a more evil state.
