ComboMod Testversion

hopefully can see DOM classes added and then i can move over to this mod , having a blast in DOM but trying to merge the omegamod but failed

I think he won’t add the DOM classes to the mod, other people have already asked and he said he wouldn’t, only the diablo classes are added.

To be fair, Diablo classes are more than enough, I myself tend to do “vanilla” builds when playing modded to see how much different I can make them be when compared to unmodded. I believe DoM would make ComboMod worse (I do like DoM btw, played a lot already)

After a long timeperiod of checking various other arpg’s, observing and getting impressions by other players about it, finally i come to a conclusion about the HUDBAR and it’s amount of buttons we have. Yes, still messing with it xD Especially after the last update about potion-classifications and with an eye speculating into the future of Grim Dawn, and also trying to keep in mind a very wide spectrum of players, i now come the final conclusion that an amount of (2 * 10)+2+dodgebutton+potionbuttons really is NOT necessary by any means, it even can not be bound fully perfectly to a “normal” gamepad so why messing with that high amount of button? No reason! So from now on, still testing it until the next real update, this mod compilation will feature TWO BUTTONS LESS on BOTH HOTBARS, so in the end we stay on a (2 * 8)+2+dodgebutton+potionsbutton featureset, which seems to be the perfect spot, still featuring more then MOST other arpgs that are on the market, and until now while testing it, it looks very promising and NOT compromising any build or characterprogression mechanics AT ALL. A first look on this will be available with the updated nil-version in a few hours and you can check the screenshots below to get a first overall impression about it.

Cheers.

EDIT1: the nil-version is uploading to test this out, it furthermore provides a preconfigured “keybindings.txt” (Xbox-Pad as reference) to make life a bit easier

Attention: i have to stop the development of the ComboMod for NOW, at least until the new expansion arrives, because there are several other projects and things i need to put more focus on right now and tbh i am not on that same level of enjoyment while modding Grim Dawn at the moment as it was and as i want it to be, so the conclusion is simple

Thanks all for participating in this journey, i hope i can get back to it with the same amount of enjoyment

IF there is anything really buggy before the expansion comes up i might update the nil-version, still!

Cheers.

I would like to make a request, could you create for me a mod with just the NPC of the pet summoning medals you have in your mod?

Actually I would like to add this feature to the reborn 3.0 mod, is it possible to add only this feature to it?

No sorry i am pretty busy at the moment and also not in the mood for Grim Dawn modding these days tbh, but that task seems to be not one of the hardest to do, it “just” takes a bit of copypaste work and some link recalibration with np++, i think you can do that by yourself, simply check for it and try it, i really tried to bring some structure to it so you can find it a bit more easy. If there are questions while progressing further, don’t bother to ask again  You might even simply put all those medals to the DC factionvendor or similar to save the process of (re)creating the NPC for it.
