your on hand holds the primary weapon, your off hand is just the opposite, the non weapon weilding hand. in gd it is just the books and dolls and horns cause it often reads off hands and shields.

problem is there is not literal french translation. in fact the item is actually in your hand, off here is just an adjective basically indicating secondary. directly translating it would result in a phrase that suggests the item is not in hand at all.

One more question: what meaning of blight have you chosen? This noun is highly polysemic. Is it “dust”, “smut”, “frost-nip”, the insect, the catastrophy, the “pernicious influence”?
ex. : Boots of Blight

Regarding the |reordering command, does it work for you guys? In a {%_3a0}{%_3a1}{%_3a2}{%_s3}{%_3a4} setup I get the following situation: I have reordered two styles by |1. Novice and Apprentice. Now when I play, I’ve got leather pants, tarnished crossbows, hide gloves etc. When I mouse over they display correctly. As soon as I mouse over a “reordered item” i.e. “tunic novice” it shows up as intended but then all styles are reordered. I check my other items and they have become gloves hide, crossbow tarnished, pants leather etc.

This happens on the fly, and if you don’t have an item that calls for reordering you can’t reproduce it.

I know this command is experimental, but I’m also wondering if I’m making a booboo somewhere.

I will look into it, thanks for the report. It certainly sounds like a bug, but I haven’t seen it before.

Thanks Rhis! It also persisted between sessions (same game instance) and affected all items, even if they had an affix or a suffix.

Build 18 will have an improved korean/chinese font renderer that doesn’t just scale glyphs. It probably won’t be complete in B18 (text effects, etc), but it will make stuff readable.

I have a problem with mq_removethehead. The end of the translated text (i.e. the objectives) doesn’t show on the quest screen (but they show properly on the right of the screen). I have the same problem with we need food.

Me too. But if I am not mistaken, wasn’t this the quest that didn’t show any objectives in the original? You couldn’t scroll down in the original either.

I have another problem (another player signaled it to me): when playing with the translation, the damage numbers don’t show during fight, neither do the words like “Deflect”, “Pary” etc. Do you know where this problem could come from?
