It would be really helpful if we could get a small compass which would show into which direction the camera is turned into. Especially if shown also during town hall placement and then also in the game.
I find it quite difficult to orientate and forget which resources were in which direction (yeah, guess it’s just me :P)

You’re not alone. It can be disorienting. I often find myself going back to my town centre, or some nearby building, so that I can re-orient my camera and position. A compass would definitely be helpful.
