Is there a list where I can know for sure what are Oils, and what are elixirs?
I just started playing GD again, and I was about to face Warden Krieg with my HC Soldier when I saw that now I can only use 1 Oil at a time, I don’t have many so I don’t want to waste them
If for example I google “Royal Jelly Balm” and “Royal Jelly Essence”, sometimes it says they’re different kind of consumables, and sometimes it says they’re the same
In Grim Dawn Tools consumables are listed by rarity so I can’t search this question

oils are the former 30-400sec buffs, elixirs are the few that were always 900 iirc

Yes, it seems so 
It’s really annoying when a feature or mechanic in this case, which has worked in the same way for a long time, it’s changed
I guess that’s the end of the journey for my soldier
it really shouldn’t be that detrimental to you, impact really was only to supers where devs felt it was a bit cheesy anyway
Everything has been buffed over the years, (quite a bit even), so you shouldn’t feel the need to stack every consume imaginable for regular MC content even on HC, and ex resist or lifesteal potion should possibly be seen as like a gap filler until that build aspect was more directly addressed, or at most complementary.
At the same time potion system will change in FoA Grim Misadventure #188 - A Look Back at 2024...'s Work on New Potions! possibly make things even more impactful than just a generic free passive stat that could be perceived as less interesting both use and building wise. (tho i’m not quite 100% sure elixirs/oils turned out were components to be used in the final version of that afterall, but i think Z floated that idea after 1.2 oil changed atleast iirc)
Grim Tools is great, but it is a quick text search. Gnomish’s links are more targeted to the key text that gets you what you want (and mostly only what you want) with “one Oil at a time”. My search for “Oil” also pops up armor and sets that match “Spoil” and “Boil” etc… but Consumables are down at the bottom.
