Thanks will be fixed next hotfix
My warder managed to do the Edge of Reality. The fight was pretty hard. Had to run away mutliple times jugging healing potions like a mad man.
The procc devotions are Falcon, Huntress, Berserker and Dire Bear
I have a question for autopickup feature. Is it only working for some material and not for other? I think my char is picking up scraps etc automaticly, but other components not. Is it intentional?
As he wrote, yes it only works with Scrap and the like.
Yeah whatever
- I found a few legendaries with "+2 to all skills in <insert skill name here>. Will see if I can find my screenshots when I’m back at my computer…
- Dynamite is not autolooted in Cronleys hideout (the static on, if you know what I mean?) Same goes for the dynamite behind the" tyrant" in Tyrants hold.
- I found some jewelry, can’t remember which slot, that gave 23% increased on. Seems imba, but my elementalist likes it
- I like the new changes to attributes, makes them all different and usable. I hate to say it but I think at least oa and da bonuses from cunning needs to be taken down a smidgen. It’s relatively easy to stack those two higher now with the abundance of cunning floating around. Or you could just tone that. Your choice
On items I do not have much to say, I’ll never agree on all individual choices you make but looking at the whole picture I can see where you’re coming from.
Haven’t had to much time playing around yet but my high level character seems to fare good in this “patch”. Would like to level up a new character but real life puts up a fight over my time
Edit: Oh yeah, also I found a few items while playing Grimarillion before your 3.3 update that had the prefix stanching". Is that your typo, or Crates? Have a screenshot of that as well lying around somewhere…
Yeah, static sources of scrap or dynamite can’t be autolooted* without editing the map, which we’re holding off on because it’d bloat the size of the mod for little physical gain. Maybe we’ll get around to it when we do actually start adding to the world.
*Technically we could do it without editing the world…but it’d be messy and potentially break a lot of stuff…
Some of the items make sense. The gloves Touch of Everlasting Groves give +2 to Entangling Vines and its follow up skill.
Today I found another item. The Fiendish Mantle shoulder armor gives +2 to all skills of Anatomy of Murder, which is just +2 to Anatomy of Murder.
Kymon’s badge oddity. The first/2nd ranks of the badge give +skills and fire -> light conversion. The 3rd rank loses the skills and conversion but gains the summon. According to patch notes the ultimate rank should give +3/3, conversion, and the summon correct?
Not sure, will look into.
Yeah, will look into.
Will fix in next hotfix. Thanks for the feedback guys. Hotfix D will take a little longer but it’s going to be a semi-big one.

A balance question… when it comes to a well optomized character in legendaries/MIs how powerful is too powerful? Like if mosr Nemesis bosses are toast in under 30 secs is that overboard atm or about right for well optomized end game gear?
I know you are planning to buff bosses and the like soon so perhaps this isn’t an issue.
Just asked Ceno for a number off the top of his head on how long he think a average-tankiness nemesis fight should last vs. top tier builds.
He said that for the absolute top-tier builds: 20 seconds, which doesn’t seem like much but it is worth noting that it is truly like 3x longer than they last for top tier builds in vanilla.
I said 1-2 minutes, but it raises the concern that because of the disparity between cheesey-super-synergy class builds and the next tier below them is so large, if we make it take 1-2 minutes for the very best builds, it’ll take friggen forever for everyone else.
And Cornucopia is more about build diversity than extreme challenge… I hope to reduce the disparity between top builds and the next tier below them, but there are a lot of obstacles in keeping things non-homogenized/interesting and dynamic AND balanced.
I suppose we could go with 20-30 seconds, and then make challenge dungeons with more brutal long lasting fights.
Okay, sounds like this summoner combo is on the leading edge of power then, but not super over the top. Btw witching hour + bysmiel relic + fiedmaster rainment + dying god and high skill hellfire aura is some super hotness with 6-7 pets.
Now that I’ve tricked you into buffing Will of Bysmiel I shall be unstoppable!
Actually I’ll need to check, i do love the armor and yeti from Heart of the Mountain…
^thanks for reminding me to make sure I blacklist devotions from being allowed on those 3 pets. Would be OP to have devotion multiplied 3x. Will make it into next patch. For everyone who doesn’t check previous pages, we released hotfix D. Check patch notes google doc or page 9.
Wow yeah, hadnt even considered that. That would be crazy.
Been making a new hardcore character to test 3.3, get a feel of things. Unfortunately, didn’t make it past the Herald of Flames in the Conflagration - my damage was too low to kill the Hulks spawned before a new one came out, ended up stuck in a corner by 3hulks - didn’t turn out too well for me.
My kiting skills aren’t what they used to be it seems !
Was playing a range/trap-based pyromancer, mainly using firestrike and mortar trap with mines and flashbang as debuffs at lvl35-ish. Damage felt really good up to that point, but hulks were too much it seems.
All in all, really enjoyed the levelling experience. It felt really smooth in terms of difficulty. I wouldn’t be able to tell how impactful the attributes are, tbh. I was splitting points between Cunning and Spirit - depending on how I felt about my damage and my tankiness, but early game it probably isn’t as significant as gear anyway.
I might try to put more emphasis on one or the other attribute on my next char, to see how it feels compared to the previous one.
In terms of gear, well, early game epics are still mostly garbage imo.
I haven’t used any of them, finding better yellows or rares before I had the level requirements to wear the few epics that could be useful. Must say it’s always been a frustration for me, I feel like epics should really be BiS early game but it never seems to be the case - I could be unlucky though.
I’ll be trying to get further next time, probably going softcore to get to finish Ultimate at least and test end-game farming, before going back to hardcore.
As always I’m impressed by the amount of quality work you’ve put into this, this is really an achievement in itself. Grats !

Damn chests, i knew it was something not good with them. Opened 4 chests at level 55 and was only 1 blue item, rest of chests were just empty in terms of items
I installed the newest iteration and something may have damaged the craftable faction belts. They give now +1/+2 to Tag not found: Invalid Skill Profile. Reading the notes again some changes from the Blademaster´s Talisman are on its little kid Bladedancer´s Talisman ( elemental and physical damage to all damage)
Ok, using latest “D” version and got some items with invalid skills profile. Prefixes are broken?)
Fuck. Will solve tonight. This is what I get for rushing. On retrospect I know why this is happening. Will have to see how many are broke but easy fix.
Attributes aren’t meant to be the most impactful thing, but impactful enough that by the end of a game you feel distinct differences from spending them one way vs another.
I’ll need you to be specific on epics. You’ll notice their quality improve at 40+ but also note you were building for hardcore and we are balancing for soft. So offensive epics that look good to some will look poor to you.
Mainly I’m not concerned with epics being worse than magic/rare gear that fits you. But if say magic/rare gear. Is better than an epic you think you would use for your build then let me know. Plz list which epics are bad and what you chose to equip in their place. We did mention in 3.2 that we took a more cautious approach generally with epics and suspected some were under buffed. And I can remedy that
