Has anyone tried leveling as a Grove Keeper? When I tried, it seemed that the “Summon Faerie” ability was bugged and it didn’t summon anything. I didn’t try to progress further into the tree because I wasn’t going to take the risk of other skills also not working.

I made a new character today as a Grove Keeper and the ability worked just fine… Could have been a connection bug as I was playing multiplayer.

“Out of sync” issues can cause some interesting effects. There is a video somewhere of Zenith’s Elementalist triple casting a flaming meteor spell.

Okay, really dumb question I suppose, but …

How do I “make” it work?

I installed using the “B” option. Everything seemed to install just fine.

I ran Grim Dawn via Steam but I don’t see any changes. i.e. when I level and pick the first class I just see the usual 6.

I must be missing something very obvious. I checked through the threads but nothing helped.

At the main menu, click “main campaign” and change to “custom game.” A box will appear to choose custom games; choose DAIL.

Be sure exit and reload GD any time you switch mods or to vanilla.

Yes, my grovekeeper/nature character works just fine! Faeries are spawning!

Did come an 1.0.0.7 compatible mod version out before Xmas ? Its very silent on Github for many days …

Nothing mod breaking came out in 1.0.0.7 so it’s already compatible. You won’t see things like the skill/item changes, but Port Valbury should be there just fine.

Is there an eta for a recompiled version with all the 1.0.0.7 goodness included?

What goodness? Port Valbury works just fine, and DAIL uses Cornucopia for items, skills, and devotions so none of those would change at all. I’m pretty sure the Cunning/Spirit bonus damage changes and the reduction of Aether resist on high resist enemies will come in because those haven’t been edited to my knowledge in DAIL and so should be inherited just fine. Honestly don’t think there’s anything to “bring in”.

I think we’ll wait for the DGA update regardless since it’s a big one, that way we won’t have to release back to back version updates.

I haven’t pushed any changes lately. I have been busy combing through everything, cutting fat, and auditing mod functions.

The next release of Cornucopia is to have the 1006 items (with Corn edits). I believe that is the only thing missing. If Corn has made a change to a mastery skill, and then Crate releases a change to the same skill, it is up to Corn devs to make changes as the see fit.

when did DGA 0.5 and updated omega comes ?

i mean the updates “inside” DAIL, i think warebare interact together with DAIL deveolpers in the background.

Unless Kathanious is hiding something from me, that’s a no. We can’t update DAIL with the new DGA until that new DGA is actually released.
