[DAIL] Release

DAIL to me is like full fledged grim dawn DLC

Did you change anything related to the Cenobite, the mastery names or otherwise? Just updated with your 60.7 version from yesterday - and all of the sudden my soldier/cenobite (paladin) became Solder only - and i lost all my mastery points from the cenobite part. Now its utterly useless. I even threw in the backup i made before i updated - but even with the old files its still just Soldier - with a free mastery slot but no free points?

Will this be fixed with the final 60.7 release or what did i do wrong here?

Our friend Mood had done some thorough bug testing. I have some minor details to fix then I’ll get this thing out.

I thought I posted this some where. If not, it’s certainly in the installer details. In prep for the expansion, some naming conventions were changed. Back up saves as always and note mastery and skill investments. The masteries affected will need to use a utility to refund lost points. I know it’s a pain, but modders, including myself, didn’t have the foresight to implement long term conventions that would not have future conflicts.

You mention a ‘utility’ - could you point me in the direction of that? I think i can calculate the lost mastery points pretty much on target.

And in relation to this - will 60.7 then have adopted those new naming conventions? Just since im an absolutely dork when in comes to technical stuff - wanting to make sure that if i make a new soldier/cenobite, in future updates it should as far as the current setup is concerned, be safe from such a wipe?

Look in Mod/Utilities for GD Defiler.

Vanilla uses a numeric convention for it’s masteries; Soldier is PlayerClass01. Many modders followed suit and made PlayerClassN. With the expansion Crate will use 07 and 08 so this forces those two existing mod masteries to rename. I went ahead and took a large step and renamed all PlayerClassN to PlayerClassX. Example : PlayerClass07 became PlayerClassNecro. This was enough to throw save recognition off.

Last test version going up. Check Omega quest plz, got a report the quest fell off and can not restart. DoH updated as well. Some of the GQ relic skills are having controller problems. Asylum101 is aware of this and working his own fix.

60.7 Campaign Installer going up on Nexus and Mega.nz at this time. (Give it about 45 min from my time stamp, Nexus is being funny).

Much has changed. Backup saves and note skill and mastery investment points. In preparation for the expansion, mastery identification files were renamed to avoid conflicts. If you play a mastery that was affected us a tool, such as GD_Defiler, to refund the lost points.

Much has been done to improve DAIL in 60.7:

Mastery audits - updates/broken skills/missing tags/etc
Loot table fixes - double affixes should roll on all epics and legs now. This is not guaranteed when crafting.

DGA and Eternal will be available shortly.

Are these updates from the DoH-Cataclysm masteries? That would be freaking neat :smiley:

Is there somewhere an info, which means the different databases exactly (NG, B, S, SD, X, SX, EP).

There are generic descriptions in the installation license agreement under Important! Do not skip this.

Anyway…

NG is vanilla mob density and challenge

B is vanilla mob density with increased hero and boss spawns

S is heavy mob density with increased hero and boss spawns

X is vanilla mob density with increased mob challenge (critters are higher level and a bit tougher.)

SX is heavy mob density with increased mob challenge (critters are higher level and a bit tougher.)

SD is heavy mob density with normal hero and boss spawns.

EP is experimental release with vanilla mob density and challenge, though contains the Cornucopia changes that alter the way stats (phys, cunning, spirit) behave.

Kathanious, you are doing great job with this mod compilation, this is the only one so good ARPG, and for me is better than D3 and POE. You and other modmakers make my dreams come true, thank you for your job and keep going!

All 60.7 modes up on Nexus.

Mega.nz almost done.

If you find bugs, keep them to yourself for a few days. I want to pretend this was a clean release. :smiley:

Hi thanks for the update of 60.7. But unfortunately Alkamos quest from latest omega is not getting completed I tried. It is getting completed on latest vanilla omega through

Edit: It is completing in Vanilla (NG) mode only. Other modes are not completing

I think it’s posssible that other database proxys use the old version of Alkamos dbr (Ultimate Alkamos dbr was changed in latest patch).

Could be a Cornucopia collision with Omega. The fact that it works in NG mode in DAIL but nothing else to me says it’s a screw up on our end, more likely Kath’s since he handles the actual installer (see the SD/SX boondoggle :p).

Cornucopia does not touch Alkamos (at present).
