[DAIL] Release

Going to push one more updated release with a few minor tweaks before the weekend.

Vanilla masteries post-50 investment - fixed
Occultist/Shaman - added additional pet spawns at ultimate tiers

And probably anything else that pops in the next 24 hours.

DAIL will then sit until updates start happening again. DGA will be coming out of beta soon. Zenith and Grim Quest continue to improve their masteries. And Cornucopia continues to move forward with their vision as well. I will keep the Cornucopia changes to stats and entities in its own version until items/skills/devotions that offer reduced item reqs catches up with the rest of the system.

And if you haven’t already, you should read THIS post concerning DAIL and the expansion release.

Those changes are a bit too radical in my opinion, they do not take mastery bonuses into the account, so Cunning specific masteries won’t get enough damage bonus, same goes for Spirit.

It is a fresh approach and makes all attributes valuable, but personally I’d rather have an option not to use them.

btw new Mystic Warrior is amazing. Those crystal summoning gives additional eather vibe coolness to the mastery. I also like damage conversion and couple of selfbuffs. Now it is a solid aether user class.

btw2 (not sure if this is the correct topic for that, but I’ll post it here) while playing poison Ranger I found myself using a lot of Occultists specific items and changing skill bonuses from +1 to occultist to +1 to ranger. I think several Occultist weapons could also have + 1 to Ranger bonus and there should be a poison mythical relic instead of just purely physical.

I would love to add more class-specific items. Jiaco did this with Grimarillion copying epics/relics and tweaking them for mod masteries. I have discussed this with Alien and loottable bloat is a concern. I think this would create too much competition for desirable items. Basically RNG for the item to drop then 1 : 30 for it to be the version you want.

For some reason the body in the beginning does not drop infernus summoning item, only Cratebox

I suggest making
medal01 - Rare
medal02 - Epic
medal03 - Legendary

Also why not make those medals one from the other. So dailmedal01 would be in dailmedal02 Formulaconfig. And the dailmdal02 in a dailmedal03 recipe.

Finally. Medals have +2, +3 to all skills bonuses. Maybe it would be a good to push medal02 to 70-75 lvl, and medal03 to 85-90 lvl.

For some reason I can’t even get 6.7 X or SX to install now… I get the same error at various points.

So yeah. A zip of 6.8 would be greatly appreciated. I’m going through DAIL withdrawal.

Wait a day or two, 60.8c is coming with some fixes :slight_smile:

That won’t change how the installer behaves. A zip package will be easy to make.

Edit : actually I can build the installer with no compression. With that you’re looking at a 1.3g d/l

Try and set the install dir to C or similar short path. If it works you can always move it.

Intended, GD Reforge was removed.

That was the intent afaik.

We’ve already talked about this internally, maybe in 60.9 or equivalent.

Ah, that’s a pity. Well, if I knew what needs to be done, I could help. Since I’m already messing with DAIL db anyway.

DAIL - 60.8C will be available from all typical outlets shortly. I feel really good about this release and it should carry DAIL forward for a while.

Now offering a ZIP package for those who have trouble with the installer or choose not to use it. Instructions for setting up the campaign challenge of choice can be found in the INSTRUCTIONS.txt upon decompression.

Only the campaign is offered as a ZIP package at this time.

Question: What exactly changed with 60.8b and 60.8c? In other words, I have 60.8a. What am I missing out on?

Why do I get so many bosses on X Difficulty?
I think that X only increased Mob’s toughness not Boss Density?

I’m just looking for increased mob/boss difficulty not the density because I don’t want to oneshotting the mobs/bosses but not overwhelmed

Due to a Kathanious malfunction, 60.8C has been re-uploaded to all outlets. Mode “X” install was actually installing an “X with B density.” This has been corrected and DAIL has gained a new campaign challenge (XB).

Oops, I was wrong. It is supposed to be vanilla density.
