yeppers,
in fact, it was extra weird since i hadnāt even taken the aura stuff items in my char
itās like it got default applied through the unused merchant

There are two separate scales, the scaling of heroes and bosses, and the scaling of mobs (and that should go to x10 I believe). The mob scaling is not going up with time, while more heroes, bosses and nemesis spawn as time progresses (technically as you trigger spawn locations, so if you stand still for a while, difficulty does not increase)

It never said Wizard there, but that white box should not exist. I am using the vanilla background picture, so whatever is causing it should be from vanilla GD.

Try installing the DoM UI for the Malmouth theme.
The mod is no functional in the 1.2 version
I am not surprised⦠there were plenty of changes to GD in it, some more invasive than usual
then we are doomed
My guess is all major mods / overhauls are broken after 1.2.
