Hello Mamba. Apparently Grim Dawn made an update to 2Hander animations. Grimarillion mod creator fixed “Mystic Ally” and added 2hander animations etc. Would you mind adding these animations? Monk is unplayeable without “Mystic Ally.” I have been eagerly anticipating this fix.
Also, I believe the lack of 2hand animations after the GD update is the reason some mobs and bosses are frozen in place on Dawn of Masteries.
Hello author, long time no see. Currently 1.2.1.6 has been updated and the new DLC is nowhere in sight. Do you have time to update the DOM to adapt to the game? Will this be a difficult job? Thank you
so i’ve just stumbled upon this mod, all the new masteries seems lit but for some reason I can’t use it. I extracted the mod into mods folder, create custom game, select the mod map, create new character, enter the game, and it seems nothing changed, like the picture
What do i need to do to access the new masteries ?
You have to go back to the character creation interface and select DOM in the custom game, otherwise you will start the game directly as the original GD. So you don’t have any changes and the characters of the two are not shared.
Same as you do in the vanilla game - get to level 2. Then you can choose your first mastery.
I selected custom mode, chose DoM, create a new character with it and enter the game.
After leveling up, this is what i’m seeing. Vanilla GD
I already delete the settings folder in “My document/…”
I downloaded the newest version of the mod from Nexus. My game version is 1.2.0.5
I wonder if the mod does not work with 1.2.0.5 ?
this has nothing to do with it. If you do not see the classes, then you did not install it properly.
You should have the following in your GD directory mods\dom\database\dom.arz My assumption is that you do not, and that is why you do not see the classes from the mod.
nvm and thank you guys, it works now. Because the path must be exactly \mods\dom\database. Earlier I just extract the whole thing from the downloaded archive file, so the path is something like “\mods\Dawn of Masteries-82-1-6-0a-1726433885\database” and that does not work.

It’s just the way mods work. They won’t always show items that are not ones from the vanilla game.

Some humanoid mobs and NPCs with staves or spears keep T posing and don’t attack at all
Hi! I’m unable to move after equipping 2H weapons like staves - after researching seems its a patch-related issue (something animation related?) so my question is if there’s any way around it or do we have to wait for a mod update? Thanks in advance! ![]()
need help, i got dawn of masteries to work properly and i can play classes and play the game just fine but then i check console and this popped up
records/fx/fxtrails/swordlife_fxtrail.dbr is a vanilla GD file, if you do not have that, then I assume you are not on the latest release
o ok i will validate files and see if i can get steam to update the game if not i will reinstall, will post if none of that works
