Dear Crate, about shattered realm...

Yes mate. You have a waystone up to 65

Yes, you do get better and better Waystone blueprints, just got the one from 20 to 30 (dropped at level 20). Also, your progress is saved 5 shards by 5 shards, so, let’s say you reached level 28, you can use the 2nd tier of Waystone to start again at level 25.

Also, level 20 only dropped a level 50 Glyph blueprint, but also a Shattered Realms set piece. I suspect the highest glyph blueprint only drop at level 31+, but if someone could confirm it, would be nice.

Also, for more info, dying does not end your run, just takes roughly 1 minutes to go back where you were, with the respawn and the rebuffing…Which is something I really like, because you can still make progress that way, little by little.

Welp. Figured that would be the case. Reset to 15 then quit after 25 and I did find another waystone for up to 30 on the blacksmith. But damn. Realms is tiring. I just realized 10 shards is like 40 cruci waves, even longer because you don’t hunt for enemies on cruci of the dead.

You know you could just GDstash the waystones right. :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: I’ve even managed to corrupt malawiglenn. Power beckons x1x2…you shall not resist its siren call.

Umm. You know I’m a massive GDstasher, right? But not on my first try :stuck_out_tongue: I need to get that char as far as I can before I try other builds :stuck_out_tongue:

I know you are. I figured it might be more convenient to start at say shard 30 rather than go at it from 1.

I tried from shard 1, hit shard 30 and was like nupe. Spanks OUT. GDstash - leggo.

Didn’t realize it was gonna be this long tho. I played realms at release after I cleared campaign but that was during the crash era so never got past 2.

You didn’t think it would take 3 whole days to begin using GDStash? :stuck_out_tongue:

To each his own.

Hopefully the more of new builds will be SR -calibrated. I am surprised to still see Cruicible times in the new ones. Old habits will take a while to change.

Hey I’m still only using GDstash to create waystones of where I last stopped. Took me 3 days cause I didn’t play when the crashes became unbearable :p. Now that they fixed it I’m back to full speed again.

I ran through only to about 30 so far. There were a few situations where I needed to pilot well though, I actually went to half HP at like floor 10 because I got swarmed by aether crap everywhere and 2 pets actually died, which was REALLY surprising. Haven’t had anything since then, and I kinda ragequit cause I crashed and had to restart from like 15. That, and I wanted to play HC.

I will go back and push it some more once I test this primal spirit build. I can foresee some problems with the build I’m running now on the conjurer not having enough damage – the defensives are fantastic, but if it gets hit enough, it’s going to die.

LOL I only GDstash my bugdet builds for my guide  I take copies of already done builds and make them budget as fuck. So its only for teaching purposes

So, from my limited experience, Death does not end your run unless you stumble on a “Trial” Chunck, which I encountered two of :

  • an ossuary with a Chtonian boss and lots of plants
  • a fake reward room like when you tell the NPC you want to end your SR run (sly, sly devs)

Timer doesn’t seem to end your run either, but I can’t confirm yet, since I ran out of time against the Bosses at the end of Shard 25, and was still offered the option to go on.

Interesting, seems these penalties only lessen your rewards. If that’s true, then SR is much much less stressful than Crucible.

3k hours in Diablo III greater rifts. No idea when I will try shattered realms “for real”…

Were the greater rifts challenging

Yes of course they were. I was on top 10 Europe Barbarian a few seasons.

So, I am bit “burned out” from these kind of time limited slayer-fests :stuck_out_tongue:

I am also pretty tired of Whirlwind, so not “spin2win” for me ever I think :stuck_out_tongue:

Wait, are you Barbarian or GD stashing rat:D?I want it also, siren calls,so you can skip shards with GD stash program?

I am a GD stashing Barbarian rat!

Btw I think also Diablo III used “carnage” to add time (but it was called Massacre I believe)

You can just GDstash waystones and the dude will let you enter up to 65

But the dude will whisper “you filty GD stashing rat” in your ears and haunt your nightmares :frowning:

Thanks, guys!Man I really should use GD stash, strong urge to get all BiS greens for my builds.Status-dark side is looking brighter:cool:
