Deathmarked and some other melees affected by 1.3 changes

It’s there so we can keep the aesthetics of the warped cleaver without the “aged urine” color scheme.

Added Cold Nortus Sabo

I use 2 of those on a Physical Cadence Battlemage but only againts bosses. 6 sec Mirros and +700% Phys damage is… something. I switch to 2 Aetherwarped Cleavers against group of monsters for the bonus targets and “AoE”.

Not a top 20 SF contender by any means but more than good enough to finish the game in Ultimate and doing some low level SR without difficulty. The hardest part was farming for good affixes.

By this philosophy all builds are fine, even the bad ones. Yet, regarding those axes, i strongly believe they should have global ele to phys and a fabric of reality mod that converts both flat aether and chaos to phys if we want them to be really useful and especially if we want to put battlemages into the spotlight.

I was not disagreeing with buffing them, just answering mad_lee about what kind of silly build would use those.

Also I really like your FoR mod idea. That skill has no modifier as of 1.3 so a bit of love to both the weapon and the skill would be nice.

a casul’s experience:

delayed (had some tech issues) update/status on scrub pilot Belgo BM
6x “true to casul” run 1v1 boss room fights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iX8aeOi1wlw , 5.56, 5.14 , 5.56 , 6.18 , 5.56 , 5.38 - deathless (ofc :sweat_smile:) “feels fine” when played slow/it’s tolerable from a casul player pov “used to 6+mins time”, but doesn’t feel OP or mindblowing or amazing then (you can feel some tankiness in chunks aoe, but otherwise regular/nothing special)
5x trying to push it and multi tank, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cL0U1GHme7U 5.10 , 5.30 , 6.01 (1 death), 6.03 (no death), 7.18 (lots of deaths :sweat_smile:) - completely turned brain off last boss room and also got a bit stubborn trying to stick with multitank instead of adapting (bit tired at the end too i guess), and i kinda wanted to prove a point with Slathsarr (got a better understanding why you guys complaint about his fumble now)
^it doesn’t feel as good. It “can” multi tank in casual hands, but (atleast for now) it really doesn’t seem worth it, awareness and attentiveness requirement gets high, while the degree of dicey’ness and spikes fluctuate where there’s a sense of randomness, to which (in my hands) “potential but not even guaranteed” time gains doesn’t seem like it’s rewarded for that risk now.
Kinda crazy with how tanky it otherwise feels/one moment you feel like an immortal even if not speedy god, and the next you’re questioning “wtf is happening and where did my defences go”

idono, same as belgo, (in my hands)doesnt’ feel “worth” to try push it with multitank/time gains don’t seem to justify it, but it’s capable even if bouncy hp/leech, still need to pay attention but aoe and tank feels comfier (even if those runs didn’t have particular nasty combo examples)

scrub pilot clear times aside, kinda feels “weird” that Pierce Belgo “intended build” feels lesser than phys"supposed meme"blademaster. And it really seems like the sole thing holding Warborn BM back is just cadence mechanic causing bouncy healing, and aside from that tiny thing feels both reliably tankier and feel more nukey than tmnt ShredderBelgo

So yea, buff Belgo? please a smidge more powercreep? :sweat_smile: , damadz, aoe, 20%dr on shadows :woozy_face:

Curious how that’s gonna play out. So much of that converted ele will just get eaten by armor. Same with any converted Aether and Chaos. It could be a fun weapon if it incorporated some OFF support since that has so much phys RR which…does that even ever get used?

That requires you to be able to freeze things, which is fine on trash, but not so much on the rest. So… not really useful in the cases where you need it.

That’s what I meant, increasing OFF’s usability through an item mod on the weapon to open the door for some limited-time phys burst. Of course, that still runs into the problem that some bosses are just straight up immune no matter what like Korvaak with his 500 % freeze res. We really, really should have said goodbye to this kind of design a while ago. Damage immunities on Moose crystals etc. have gone away but this nonsense still persists? It’s not like we’re anywhere near a risk of perma-freezing or perma-trapping major bosses.

Belgo BM feels so weird, i too played a legit version of Lees spec minus those fucking uncraftable boots (windshears are good enough) and its such a classic and fun build with pretty decent single target damage but it…just doesn’t feel great. Damage is consistent if not a bit lowish to my tastes but anyhoo, mob clears in SR are straight up cancer with the low aoe and its not tanky enough to pull full bossrooms reliably without dying.
