Different farms and wine

How about implementing a chicken farm and a pig farm ? Grape fields would also be interesting to produce wine. :grinning:

Love the idea of chickens and wine!!! Although I think it should be a vineyard, set up like the arborist, rather than a field so you can set them up in rows like the trees - would look way cooler than a field

Also, another idea for the grapes! Maybe they are found like blueberries, and you can relocate them into a vineyard, like an arborist type setting!!

There is no need to add grapes for wine.
Fruit wine/hard cider can be made from almost any fruit- we have berries galore, and an arborist that plants apple, peach, and pear trees.
“Country wine” has been made from all of these fruits for centuries.
We already have what we need for fruit wine/hard cider- we have berries galore (and blueberries make a wonderfully sweet country wine!), and an arborist who plant apple, pear and peach trees- all can also be used to make fruit wines/hard ciders.

This could be an idea for an upgraded tier for the preservist building- barrels added for fermenting fruit juices to make cider or fruit wines, bottled in glassware for consumption at the pub or for sale at the trading post. Meaning it is going to be time and labor intensive, and also expensive to make- but possibly profitable if sold to traders like beer currently can be. Also probably quite appealing to thirsty raiders while they try to tear your village apart.

This is a must and I think the grapes need to be a thing even though you can make wine with berries and such but just make it so Grape wine is more classy. And the pigs could provide fertilizer (Crap) with their extra resource besides with also meat.

Eventually being able to farm and grow all of the items like herbs, berries, roots, and more, should be an endgame goal.

  • Grapes placed on hillsides give higher yields, like the idea of classic wine making.
