DW Melee Fire Paladin vs Aegis Paladin vs DW Melee Shieldbreaker comparison

I have Aegis Paladin (100) and now playing DW melee Shieldbreaker (58).
I would like to try Paladin to go for DW so… (main reason were a couple of those swords in my stash https://www.grimtools.com/db/items/12755)
How does the following compare:
Aegis Paladin vs DW Paladin ? Which is better (both melee gameplay)
and
both of them vs DW Shieldbreaker
How much of a difference is there?
Any solid DW Paladin build out there?

I’m currently playing with DW FS shieldbreaker. But not with those weapons ofc. Finished all content some time ago and testing it on SR, for now it seems to be I created a very solid, tanky build that can farm SR 65-66 regardless of the mutators and if you don’t mess things up, you don’t even die even againts worst boss combinations. Although it has great RR, lacks some dps so I quess it will be hard to pass 75.

But for your question, you definitely need Justicar Set to go on, if you choose a defensive path on devotions, DW Paladin with double Soulblade can be cool.

Because i dont know which set to go for a Shieldbreaker. There are 2 dedicated ones more or less. Justicar and Infernal Knight yes?

https://www.grimtools.com/calc/YVWBb0y2 This is just a 15 mins theorycraft of mine, very offensive version but as you can see it seems squishy even on paper, lack some stats. To compensate those I kinda focus on lifesteal, but I believe it will also provide great damage output. I used cinderplate belt for flat fire damage but Crimson Lotus or a good rolled gargoyle girdle should be much better and can overcap some resistances.

This is the result, very tanky indeed so easier to play, stats better in the game because items are very good rolled. I’m going to post it in a few days.

This is the original build, it has much better dps than mine, so if you confident about your survival skills this might be better to follow.
